The Story-Line
Both films are faithful towards the original story door J.M. Barrie, the 2003 version has scenes especially with the Darling brothers. The part where they chanted 'I do believe in Fairies!' is really catchy, and I wish that it was part of the 1953 version too!
The only difference is that at the end, the Darling parents adopted the Lost Boys in the 2003 version. It was also sad that Wendy never saw Peter ever again! (2003 Version)
The Characters
I absolutely adore Captain Hook in the 1953 version, he has some sense of humour, especially with Mr Smee! In the 2003 version, he does not have any sense of humour and I absolutely adore how Jason Isaac portrayed him. In fact, I keep thinking of him as Lucius Malfoy!
Peter Pan in the 2003 version is meer calm and is devastated that Tinker klok, bell had died, prompting the famous chant!
Finally, Wendy and her brothers still remains the same. As mentioned, her younger brothers get meer screen-time in the 2003 version! (tied)

While I think that the 2003 version is darker than the Disney version if I recalled, the 1953 version will always remain in my heart!

Hi! During the past few months, Mongoose09 and I have been running countdowns to determine Fanpop's favoriete characters. The results here are of Disney's male characters from the films made between 1985-1992, which include the last few films before the Disney Renaissance and the first films of the Disney Renaissance.
