20.Oogie Boogie Man (The Nightmare Before Christmas). This guy has spunk. Enough said. His song is pretty cool, but just look at his animation. It's AWESOME. And I swear, he's the same voice as Audrey II...ah well, at least he sounds exactly like him anyway. And when u open this guy, he turns into BUGS. The only reason he's so low is he's a little too show-offy for my tastes.
19.Dr. Facilier (The Ptincess and the Frog). He's pretty new to the disney scene, but he's cool. Nothing over-the-top amazing, which is what landed him so low, but he's got spunk. And his henchman scare the pants off of me. He's got a pretty good song and he can be pretty scary when he needs to be.
18.Ursala (The Little Mermaid). Not the biggest fan of her, but I have to admit she's a clever little witch. Okay, big witch. Point being, she's always got something up her sleeve. And she has an awesome song. Though after she gets her powers she starts to get overly-cliche. Which is not cool.
17.Cruella Deville (101 Dalmations). What I like about Cruella is she doesn't have any powers. She's a weakling, no magic, and is human. Everybody knows a woman like her. But that doesn't make her any less evil. She wants to kill PUPPIES. KILL PUPPIES. That's like the essence of evil! She's low down because she seriously needs to take a chill pill.
16.Shanyu (Mulan). Y'know what would be cool? A fight between Darth Maul and Shanyu. The silent menaces. Shanyu barely speaks but when he does, he is SCARY. And he just won't die either. Who survives an avalanche? Shanyu, that's who. But he's low down because he has no character development. Besides standing around looking menacing, he doesn't do much.
15.Shere Kahn (The Jungle Book). Love this guy. He's like the essence of COOL. He doesn't chase after people with crazy eyes. Ever. He keeps his posture and scares the bejeezes out of us anyway. And I'm willing to bet that Scar got his cool cat lessons from this guy. That is, if they were in the same part of the world. The reason he's so low down is that besides being awesome and having a great personality, he really doesn't do much.
*14.Rasputin (Anastasia). Now back to the crazy characters. This guy is insane. Being a zombie for many centuries can do that to a person. Although he's not historically acurate in the slightest, he's a pretty awesome villain. And he's voiced door Christopher Lee. CHRISTOPHER LEE. Just for that reason, he needed to be on this list.
*13.Tai-Lung (Kung Fu Panda). Aw, look a cartoon Darth Vader! Not as cool as Darth Vader, but at least this guy didn't act like Anakin. GOD, I hate Anakin. ANYWAY, Tai-lung is another cool-cat. Voiced door Ian McShane. Plus, he's got the whole breaking the good-guy from the inside figured out. And that takes SKILL. And his escape from prison was pretty impressive. Reason he's so low? No one, NO ONE messes with Shifu.
12.Zira (The Lion King II). Thank god my mother didn't act like her! She's the biggest biggot ever and she tries to use her child for her own selfish reasons. Not very nice! But she does have a pretty good strategy to get her plan acomplishe,d and it's not really her fault that Kovu totally screwed it up. And she's got determination. Even when all her followers decided to turn to the good guy side, she wouldn't falter. But she's low because she's a Scar cast off. If Scar doesn't love her, I can't totally love her either.
11.Lady Tremaine (Cinderella). AAAAHHH!!! This lady may not do much in spellwork of strength, but she is Freakin' SCARY. Like when she locks Cinderella up in that room so that she can't go to the ball? Her face scared me so much when I was a kid. So much that I'm still scared to watch it again. That woman is a total bitca and makes her childs life a living hell. But only her least favoriete child, whose the only nice one. Nice lady, huh? Reason she's so low-doesn't do anything awesome. Basically just sits around her house being mean.
10.The Evil Stepmother (Snow White). Unlike most villains, she has no sidekick. She does all the dirty work herself. And she's a woman. Take that, men! Plus, she is TERRIFYING. She's a worse mother then Zira! How can u kill a 13 jaar old girl, YOUR DAUGHTER, because she's too pretty? EVIL!!! The reason she's so low- she hasn't got much pizazz.
9.Honest John (Pinochio). Weren't expecting him so high, huh? Well he is. It was hard to decide out of all the Pinochio villains which one deserved the titel of main villain the most. But Monstro is flat, Honest John's sidekick is a sidekick, and Stromboli is just greedy. Honest John is a foxy character, honest my ass! He lies throughout the whole movie and is what starts Pinochio on his whole journey through hell. He's what makes Pinochio go down the bad path. And he smokes! SMOKES! Reason he's so low- he's not really all that scary, and he's a slimy little thing.
8.Pete (Disney). What kind of a lijst would this be without Pete? The classic villain? Not much to say about this guy besides that he's a classic. If he can challange Mickey, Donald, and Goofy- he deserves a place high on this list!
7.Hopper (A Bugs Life). My favoriete Pixar villain. Why? Because he's so darn scary. No other pixar villain, alright- maybe Randall Boggs and the guy from The Incredibles are an exception- has made me THIS scared. I don't remember the movie much, except that Hopper scared me. And that's enough to get him high on this list. A Bugs Life is way under-rated. Reason he's so low? I honestly don't remember enough about him to put him higher.
6.Ratigan (The Great muis Detective). This guy is voiced door Vincent Price. He's cool and collected and wears a suit at all times. He is NOT a rat. And the best part? When he loses his cool. WATCH OUT. He's terrifying when he loses his cool. I mean, u wouldn't expect it. But he's an insane monster when it comes down to it. And it's AWESOME. Reason he's not number one? I didn't watch him when I was a little kid, so there's no nostalgia connected to him.
5.Jafar (Aladdin). This guy may be a bit cliche, I'll admit it. But he accomplishes so much. He get's SO CLOSE to his own version of "Happily Ever After" world conquest! MWAHAHAHAHA!But of course the hero has to win, so Jafar was screwed from the very beginnnig. That doesn't make him any less menacing and dangerous though. Which why I love him. Reason why he's not number one? A little too cliche for my tastes.
4.Hades (Hercules). This guy has got Pizazz. So what if he doesn't really accomplish anything? He acts cool while trying! He's got a great sense of humor and has fun on the journey to getting what he wants. Plus, I just love guys who act cool but will go berserk when gegeven a good enough reason. "Cool but Evil" is my main type of villain. And boy does Hades fit in there! Plus, he actually manages to work into Hercules hart-, hart and mess him up from the inside, taking away his powers. Pretty nifty plan there! AND he kills the girl! She get's better, but still! Plus, he's a god. A FREAKIN' GOD. (And a Greek/Roman God. From a latin student, this adds even meer bonus points)
3.Scar (The Lion King). Of course he was here! How could SCAR not be here? He actually managed to kill a character. Not only kill, but it was his brother! AND HE DIDN'T GET BETTER! The only other villains with that kind of skill is Dr.Facilier, Man, and Clayton. And Scar is definitly the coolest of them. He's the better version of Shere Kahn. This guy just NEVER loses his cool. AND he gets to be all-powerful for a good part of the movie. Who can claim all of that? AND, he's Jeremy Irons. JEREMY IRONS. I rest my case.
2.Frollo (The Hunchback of Notre Dame). Obviously, he's got to be up here. This is my favoriete disney movie, he sings my favoriete disney song, and he's terrifying. Plus, he's got the cool but evil thing down pat. He's so cool that he doesn't even realize he's evil! This dude is so complex and non-evil that I'm surprised he's in a disney movie. But he is, and I am so glad. But boy is he scary. He burns down all of paris! And he's a preist! (Not in the disney version, but he's a judge!). Still, being a Victor Hugo bad-guy (or anti-hero?) gains him many points. Like Javert. I love Javert. Sorry, that's beside the point. Oh yeah, and TONY JAY. WIN.
1.Captain Hook (Peter Pan). Remember when I zei I love cool but evil? Yeah, Captain Hook is not that in the slightest. He's meer of the crazy hilarious villain. But he's a pirate. A PIRATE! YAY! He's really funny and Hook, Smee, and The Crocidile, you've got to smile whenever u see this guy. But why is he better then all these cool but evil guys? Then Frollo? Two reasons. A) He's a pirate. B) I hate Peter Pan, Wendy, and Tinkerbell. So I really don't care when Hook is trying to kill them. I can actually root him on. YEAH, CAPTAIN HOOK!!!!! (My favoriete disney character of all time, as well. WHOOT!!!!)
