( Please notice that I'm in a rush, please excuse any mistakes. )
I had actually planned on making an artikel about Fanpop a few months geleden and never had time and I still don't.
So instead of me just going into it full force detail like I planned I'm just gonna skim through it.
I'm writing this because I've been on Fanpop since 2011 and it has been amazing, but in the past jaar of so Fanpop has turned into a ghost town. It's so bad even some of the biggest clubs aren't really active anymore.
It really makes me upset because I can't even go to most of the clubs that I use to visit because it's so dead.
And when that happens to most sites ( it actually happens to every site ) they figure out what happen, get feedback, and change things.
So, here are the top, boven five things I think Fanpop should add.
Notice: I'm not demanding/expecting any of this, I'm just giving ideas.
I'm a huge fan of customization I.love.it! If u look at the two sites Tumblr and Myspace. They're actually kind of alike, they both allow/ed u to create your own profiel and and do whatever u wanted to it.
It wasn't until Myspace decided to change things and switch to layout 2.0 is when things went down hill. ( and well of course Facebook came along and took over, but lucky for Fanpop it's unique. ) because the 2.0 only allowed u to pick basic themes that didn't really allow u to customize at all. Therefore losing the whole point of Myspace well besides meeting new people.
I'm gonna skip to the point.

These are in no order.

5.) customizing proflie,
I think Fanpop should allow us to customize our profiel more. Like why not add a boi section, a place to maybe add muziek talk about our newest obsessions, maybe change the color and like srsly just write whatever we want. I know this site isn't really about 'you' but I wouldn't mind going on someone's profiel and reading about the things they're a fan of before asking.
I asked about this in the Fanpop club a jaar ago.

And for the one person that actually answered, she seems pretty much up for it. They didn't seem to like the club idea. I actually think the clubs are fine they don't need to be touched.
So customizing our profiel is something to think about.

4.) A chatroom/meebo,
when I first found Fanpop the chatroom wasn't there pretty long, but I was able to get on at least once. It was fun, it soon left most people, were bummed but I wasn't because we still had meebo. Meebo was were I met my first Friend on Fanpop I think it was really cool to like put up a status and tell whether u where online of not.
Meebo was a thing where u could get to know people without having to inbox them ( it takes to long )
and of having to write on their uithangbord because of privacy issues.
I know Fanpop had nothing to do with meebo leaving but if there was another way for people to get to know each other, talking would be much easier.
Everyone knows the meebo thing is a big issue, my point in bring it probably wasn't necessary.

3.) Animated/Gifs.
u guys have no idea how important this is to me. I would absolutely love if we could use gifs in the answer section, forums, and artikel section. It would make things soooo much meer entertaining if we could use them. It would also get many peoples point across in an argument.
I also want animated iconen I heard that was a glitch once and everyone went crazy. animatie is like a thing now adding gifs to every spot u can add pictures to would be a major upgrade.
Are u guys up for it? Cause I surely am!

2.) Admins/report system,
(I not really sure what they're called but I think it's Admins correct me if I'm wrong.) Someone should be over some of the clubs, example. The Random Club, I can promise u there was at least a troll every uur in that club back when it was super populair and it was super annoying. It's was so annoy many people left the club and that's why it's so dead today.
If u guys were to get Admins I would like for them to be professionals not a random user that u think would be a good Admins. They'll make make some type of mistake ban someone from a club door accident
and it'll get bad.
I wouldn't mind being able to do meer if u were the creator of the club but I could still see that going wrong.
As for the meld system it could be better..I'm not sure what to do about that. commentaar below and give your ideas on it.

1.) Random Things That People Have Complained About.
Some of the reasons why people left were because they didn't like the big update. I actually loved it. The old one was out of date. Major improvement.

Adding the thumbs up button, wasn't necessary. We're on this site because it's different from the others and we like it that way. but don't get me wrong I have no problem with it.

Just beeing honest Fanpop is dead, if we could have advertisements to let meer people find out about it, that would be great. I found Fanpop door looking for Naruto pictures on Google. Like most people, if it wasn't for that I surely wouldn't have known about this site.

I actually really love the layout of Fanpop it's amazing the only thing I have a problem with is the mobile layout I usually only use my phone to get one fanpop and now things have change and I can't get to my inbox anymore nor log in. It's a huge problem.

There needs to be a way to where we can tell whether someone has written us back. Instead of having to go back and check.

Another thing is not being able to wis polls, if I have geplaatst something and I don't want it on here anymore I should be able to take it off. I have no idea why we can't anymore.

Everyone seems to loved the way the old banners looked. New banner downgrade.
I'd love if there was a way to re-position the pictures in the banner.

volgende adding pictures has become a little difficult, but no major complaints.

We need a better way of writing articles.

There should be a section where I can see all of the clubs I've created. Also with all the vragen of 'who created this spot' there should be a place where we can see who created the clubs.

The huge caution sign that was put in the yaoi club was reeaallly irritating. That's a huge no-no. (It's not there anymore)
I really didn't like that the fact that u put that there because there are children that are on this site that shouldn't be, but we have to make things child friendly, yet they shouldn't be on fanpop in the first place. It's just doesn't sound right.
This artikel explains my point. Isn't talking about censorship but it does talk about the age problem.

I understand the whole point in no porn, like I 100% agree but don't go to far,There are a lot of items that are getting deleted for being inappropriate that actually aren't inappropriate. Plus no one actually does that besides trolls.

And one last thing the random glitches aren't fun anymore. They're very annoying end of story.


Welp that's it, tell me what u guys think should be added and tell what u agree and disagree with. I really want to know!
Also I'm super sorry this whole artikel is informal, Ill have to go back and fix a few things I'm sure, but my main point was me getting my point across. lol
I hope nothing about this artikel offended anyone, everyone knows the F4 works very hard and maybe we don't say it enough but we all love this site and we're very grateful for you. Thank u so much.
