Where do I ask my question?

This artikel attempts to distinguish what sorts of vragen should be geplaatst with the different "question" features on Fanpop, and was last edited on 31 March 2009.

Now that Fanpop has added another "Ooh! Ooh! I get to ask a question!" feature, the vraag "What is the difference between all these features?" is even meer appropriate than ever before. One can ask a vraag in a Forum, in a Quiz, in a Pick, of in an Answer (Request). Which one should be used for a gegeven question?

This topic may already exist as a soapbox but I have to say that things on certain spots seem to being rated one ster CONSTANTLY. People have complained in forums on meer than one occasion, no fan would rate something one ster if they liked the subject the spot was dedicated to, has anyone else noticed this on any spots?

It happens on the One boom heuvel spot, and others related to it, I'm sure that someone else is really annoyed about this!! It is really childish! Sometimes it is pages of content all rated one ster and somehow I feel convincedthat it is NOT a coincidence!!!

Okay, this has been brewing in me for a while and I think that now is the time to bring it all out into the open.... I speak of the burgeoning conflict that is the rating-to-comment ratio.

Lets break this down; On numerous occasions, I have added various linken to many different sites, and always venture back to see what people think of the link, of their reaction to it (be that positive, negative, of even criticism towards me). But over the last few months it has become increasingly obvious that people are rating the link, but leaving no comment!

On some clubs this is not a problem. However in meer active spots people tend to check mark the box so people will view their pick more. It is VERY stupid there is three types of picks spoiler, not spoiler, and ones that need to be marked spoiler. I shall now give some examples of each.

So you've stumbled upon Fanpop because u were Googling of clicked on a link somewhere. The volgende thing u know u start joining a few spots that you're a fan of...then meer spots...and even meer spots. For spots u can't find, u might even start creating new spots. Then u start adding videos, afbeeldingen and linken to spots. u discover Picks and can't stop answering vragen in all your spots (and even some spots that you're not even a fan of!). u start making picks and even writing soapbox articles. All of the sudden people are adding u as a fan and you're earning medailles and getting...

I'm not leaving, munchkins..I know u are slightly disappointed now and were waiting for some eDrama (or happy to see me FINALLY desert the pop to live on my farm full time and stop clogging your "answers") but it's just boring old me sharing my thoughts on reporting. Forgive me..it's Sunday..and I had the time.
I sometimes stumble across obvious spam (yes, I'm talking aboot u chinese shoe and handbag sellers!) on this site that has been there for months and I wonder why it was never removed. I also see kwissen where people have been informed of a mistake and yet months later the wrong quiz...

So last night, August the 2nd/3rd, depending on where u were, I witnessed a phenomenon I have not seen on the internet for quite some time, I've seen glimmers of it, hints and comments, but I've not had it so blatantly thrust in my face until last night. Yep, they do!

As a rule, I wouldn't make a big deal about this, but it has been bothering me for a long time. I understand the importance of correct grammar, spelling, and the use of the proper punctuation, and what I am about to say has nothing to do with this. I also understand having an opinion that differs with another person, but when somebody makes a pick of writes a commentaar it takes time and effort to do so. What bothers me is when people leave mean commentaren about how either their vraag is stupid of even how stupid the person is for making a pick. STOP STEALING!

This was originally geplaatst in the One boom heuvel spot but a user asked that it be geplaatst here as well. I post a lot of things to Fanpop, especially images. Something that in my opinion is very important, is giving credit where it is due. If u find something on the web and want to share it, then feel free to post it. However, it is extremely disrespectful to claim that u created that content if u didn`t of simply not bother to credit.

Lately I`ve been coming across a lot of afbeeldingen of say a celebrity where the user who uploaded the picture, gives themselves credit. It is certainly possible...

Since I've been reading so many artikels about the levels of Fanpop users, and because this maand is my one jaar anniversary of being on Fanpop, I've decided to set a lijst of goals in the upcoming jaar of Fanpop. u know, like New Years Resolutions, only a maand earlier.

Well, I guess I should tell my story. I first came to Fanpop door a chance encounter. Back when I was on my Canada craze, I googled everything that had to do with the televisie shows 6teen and Total Drama Island. I was on about the sixth page of the zoek when I saw "6teen fan spot." I have been waiting all dag to find out the results of the Fanpoppies. I was refreshing every 10 minuten just to see if the results had been posted. After awhile I decided to go out to lunch with some vrienden (sushi yum). Little did I know that at home pagina a great horror awaited me. Fanpop was dead!
