LMFAO I just got a message like that! Apparently she`s sending it to everyone on her fan list! I dunno I like rating so I`ll probably do it if I was EXTREMELY bored.

That's what the VRSOF is for. I do occasional rating favors for friends (and often go on random rating sprees), but spam/begging? Pass.

if i bored, I liked the user and the user had sent me a link to something they would know i would like
e.g. if aholic uploaded some interesting artistic photos graphs of paris in the paris spot then i would because he knows i like photography but he knows i'm not really a member of many travel spots

If it was someone i didn't know asking me to rate the twilight spot i'd just ignore them lol

I'd more likely to if I knew them or had seen them on the site a lot and then I'd only rate it highly if it was actually good!

i know how hard it is to get medals!! .. as most leyton fans would know cos im friggin annoyed about about still being on GREEN yet i am in the top 5 contributer list to the spot .. AND people after me in that list have RED medals!

so yeah i would if i think they deserve it! .. but i agree ^ it is a bit tacky to send out a message to everyone on the fan list! most of those people probs wont even be interested in the spot being asked to rate stuff on! ... i spose asking a person if your already talking to them in email convo is ok!

I dont think I will rate it when I rate something Im not thinking oh good now this person will get a medal I base it on the content quality.

Oh, I meant if I knew them. I would just go rating stuff people I don't know add. I rate everything my friends ask me to, though, as a favor.

i'll rate something if i want to look at it. Not gonna rate stuff that i have no interest, no opinion on and just rating for the heck of someone begging me to.

Give me a break, you can't just walk up to someone and ask them to do this for you so you can get a medal. You wait, and wait, and then when you finally get a medal (that is, IF you get a medal) you'll feel like you earned it a lot more. Also, I just like to smack people across the face when they request something dumb from me :D

Sending a personal message would annoying me, but if they post a message in the VRSOF Spot, I'd be happy to do it. But speciifcally to get a medal? That would also annoy me. I just like things to be rated because I'm a little OCD...

If they've added great stuff that hasn't been rated because the spot is dead (:P), then yes. If they just add billions of repeated images to get a medal, no way. :/

if i was really really bored or if they deserved it and if i didnt know them well then i probably wouldnt because it would be hard to say yes if some random fanpopper saying 'rate my stuff' though im kinda upset that people dont rate my vids in the death note spot =P *goes to send message* jk =P

if i think what they added was good because some spots have no one who rates content so yea i probable would =/. Although if they kept on asking me i would just start ignoring it

hrmmm i guess that true but i dont really care about it in the same way i am pretty lax about this subject i mean i knew a spot in which i add a pretty decent amount of content and with in over a year it didnt get rated by one person and it had a okay sized fan base

whenever I get such message,i open the link & see the their contribution & if they are really working hard & not getting their medal then i rate their stuffs as much I can.

Only if I really liked the stuff they contributed. Nagging to rate would probably make me less likely to fan it than if I just saw it in my updates. I don't like being told what to do.

If I like their contribution (ex: an article) I may rate it but if I don't like it, I wouldn't.

If someone came all the way to my profile with a link to a thing they were proud of and it was a subject that intrigued me, I'd check it out, and if I ended up liking it, sure.

I'd have a look at their stuff if they linked to it or just said in which club, but I'd only fan it if I genuinely liked it. If it was something as generic as "fan my stuff" without even saying where said stuff is/asking me to fan EVERYTHING they've ever added, I wouldn't bother.
