"So how has your first dag at the zoo been?" Marlene asked, whilst eating a oyster.

"It's been really good so far." Emma replied with a smile. "The zoo is nice and clean, and the animals seem really friendly."

"Have u seen the lemurs yet?" Marlene zei a little smirk tugging at her face.

"No, why?" Emma answered curiously.

"Becuase they're quite strange." Marlene answered, smiling. "The Ring Talied Lemur, Julien, thinks he's a king, and he bosses the other two lemurs around." Marlene replied, shaking her head and laughing.

"He sounds really weird." Emma remarked, giggling a bit.

"Oh, and he always gets excited when a new lady comes to the zoo, he thinks that someone has sent him a queen, so watch out when u see him." Marlene, warned her, chuckling.

"Ok." Emma said, trying to hold in her laughter.

The two of them, sat for hours, talking, laughing, and eating sweets. Emma was really glad that she made a good friend already. Emma glanced at the clock and her eys widened.

"Wow, have we been talking for that long?" Emma exclaimed. "I should really get back." Emma got up and she and Marlene, started to walk to the entrance of the cave. As they reached outside, they saw that dusk was falling, and the sky was getting darker door the second, the navy blue blanket, surrounding the landscape.

"See u tomorrow Marlene." Emma called cheerfully. "It was really fun talking to you."

"You too." Marlene said, as she slid back into her cave.

Emma slid back and looked around in confusion. Where was everybody? Then the fishbowl opened suddenly, and Emma let out a shriek.

"Woah, Emma it's ok, this is the entrance to the best part of the habitat." Kowalski reassured her hastily.

"Down the fishbowl?" Emma remarked, skeptically.

"Yes, come in and have a look." Kowalski said, smiling a little nervously at her.

"Ok." Emma replied, as she hopped into the HQ. Her jaw dropped as she looked around the HQ, at the Tv, and the portholes, with the little bubbles rising every now and again.

"Wow!" She marveled. "We never had a Tv at Hoboken!" She looked towards the silver door and she walked over to it curiously. "What's in here?" She wondered.

"That's the door to my lab." Kowalski answered, a little embarrassed. He didn't want to admit that he was a science geek to Emma.

"Ooh, I love science!" Emma commentaar gegeven happily. "Can I have a look?"

"Urm.. ok." Kowalski replied, looking surprised. He led her into the lab, and she glanced around curiously. She took in the sight of the shining test tubes, the Bunsen Burner, and the other bits of equipment, that she hadn't seen in years.

"This is amazing!" Emma exclaimed, walking up to the test tubes and looking at the colourful contents. "Can we do some sort of experiment now?" She pleaded eagerly, her eyes sparkling with hope.

"We will tomorrow, since it's getting late now." Kowalski replied, giving her a small smile.

"Alright." Emma zei a little disappointed. "Urm... where do I sleep?"

"Good question, I'll ask Skipper." Kowalski said, as he began to walk out of the lab, with Emma closely behind him.

"Skipper where's Emma going to sleep?" Kowalski asked the leader. Skipper was watching an action movie on the Tv with Private, who was complaining about the amount of violence in it. For some reason that just made Emma smile. Skipper turned around and looked thoughtful.

"Well, if u look at the bunks, there's a button volgende to them which will open up a new bunk volgende to the others." Skipper explained, sounding a little Kowalski like as he zei it.

"Oh ok, that's good." Emma said. She went over to the small bunks and pressed a tiny red button. Suddenly a hammer fell from the ceiling and landed on her head. She stumbled and fell to the floor.

"EMMA!" Private yelled, dashing over to her,and helping her up. She got to her feet, a little dazed, then glared angrily at Skipper, who still wasn't looking away from the Tv.

"What was that?!" She complained, a tone of frustration her voice.

"The blue button Emma, not the red one." He zei turning around to look at her.

"Well u could have zei so." Emma muttered darkly. "Oh, and thanks for helping me up Private." Emma said, beaming a him.

"That's ok Emma, anytime." Private replied, feeling his face go red. Emma looked at him shyly as she pressed the blue button,and her new bunk came out.

Hmm it's a little dull looking, I'll have to decorate it sometime. Emma thought. She turned back towards the others, and sat down volgende to them. "So what are we watching?" She asked, looking at the Tv.

"Trumorpres!" (Transformers!) Rico blurted out excitedly.

"Ooh I love Transformers!" Emma zei happily, as she became engrossed in the film.

So the 5 penguins sat there for hours staring at the battle scenes, the love bits, and Emma's favourite character die.

"Aw come on!" Emma complained, looking upset. "He was the best, why couldn't one of the others die." she sulked a little, but got over it when the two humans finally got together.

"Aaawwwww" Private and Emma zei at the same time, whilst Rico and Skipper groaned about it, and ran to the toilets to throw up. When the film ended they all got ready for bed.

"Goodnight sis" Skipper said, patting her on the shoulder.

"Gnigh" Rico called as he hopped int his bunk.

"Goodnight." Private and Kowalski zei at the same time.

" Goodnight everyone." Emma said, getting into her bunk. It was surprisingly comfy. She pulled the blanket over her, and snuggled into the pillow. Her head filled with thoughts about her first day. She chuckled when she thought of Marlene's warning about Julien, and it was good to see her brothers again. She thought of the sweet Private, and the shy, smart Kowalski. Butterflies rose in her stomach. She realised she might have a crush on one of them. But which one? Kowalski? Private?
