Hi, this was also geplaatst on Fanfiction.net under my account name Luluguineapig. Enjoy!
Fai gazed up at the night sky. It was funny how with every dimension they crossed over into, the stars’ arrangement changed. Beside him a few feet away slept Syaoran, Sakura, and Mokona. Kurogane was lying down, but Fai doubted he was asleep.
Fai relaxed into his usual pose, lying down, arms supporting his head, and knees bent with one leg crossed over. He felt Kurogane watching him.
Subsequently, the warrior rose and sat down beside Fai. Fai smiled at him.
“You can’t endlessly hide behind a smile,” Kurogane spoke quietly as to not wake the others, but was still firm to emphasize his frustration.
“What do u mean, Kuro-puu?” Fai asked without his cheeriness faltering.
“I mean that u can’t pretend to forget about your problems door acting like a happy idiot all the time,” Kurogane answered with meer anger in his voice.
For a spleet, split second, Kurogane thought he could almost see fear in the warlock’s eyes. He continued, “I see your wall, magician, and I don’t give a damn about it as long as u don’t let it get in our way.”
Fai bit his lip. “So u care about Syaoran-kun and Sakura-chan? How sweet, Kuro-rin!” Fai gushed in response. He had been a bit taken aback door what Kurogane had said. It appears my disguise is slipping, he thought to himself.
“Why u stupid, wizard!” Kurogane shouted as he jumped up and chased Fai all around the area.
Poor Sakura and Syaoran woke up to see their vrienden running and shouting all over the place. Mokona, on the other hand, was still fast asleep on Syaoran’s pillow, softly mumbling something about Yuuko.
Fai’s tall, lanky body slipped away from Kurogane as he tried desperately to hit the annoying blonde. It would be a long night.
