Fear the Walking Dead Photos: Your First Hint at Nick's Destination 

’s Nick hasn’t stopped going since he ran away from his family in May’s fiery midseason finale. In the first of two just-released images from the AMC series’ back half (premiering Sunday, Aug. 21, at 9/8c), Madison’s estranged son is seen heading down the highway on foot.

If you’ll recall, in “Shiva,” the junkie became so upset over the fate of loco zombie lover Celia and her hacienda of horrors that he turned down a ride back to the relative safety of the Abigail in favor of striking out on his own. But, since EP Dave Erickson told TVLine back then that Nick “does reconnect with someone when we come back in Episode 8,” he won’t be solo for long. (Our guess: He’ll decide to hang with Travis and Chris.)

I mentioned this in another article about a possible crossover of TWD series. A few issues back, in the comic, Eugene is talking to some mysterious person on the radio. They mention someone joining their group the previous year, a guy that always kept himself covered in walker blood/guts.

Could be a reference to Nick, as that’s clearly his shtick. Probably unlikely, but I guess time will tell.
