If he asks for a raise he is being assertive and ambitious.

If i ask for a abortion I am a cruel, child-murderer who is punishing her baby for her own mistakes.
If he asks his girlfriend to get a abortion, he's just looking out for her.

Feminism does not equate to anti-men, and masculism does not equate to anti-woman.
Feminism is not irrelevent, and it is most definatly not a practise against men.
Feminism is still needed.
...Woman are still being paid less, on average, than men for doing the same job.
...1/4 are still being raped...
...Millions of girls are being denied the right to choose who, when and if they marry. It is usually someone much older.
...Women in Saudi Arabia are still not permitted to drive.
...And in a lot of countries, not to vote..
...Not to run for office.
...And not to be-able to wear what they want, when they want without being either punished of judged.
...Woman (or particularly feminists) are still being stereotyped as uptight bitches, when really we just want to straighten out the issues above.

And that's something worth fighting for.
