Pro-feminists are people who support feminism but do not identify as feminists themselves. This is often because they are male and feel that feminists should be uniquely female. Sometimes race or class can be an issue too, as mainly feminism is led by rich white women.

I'd like to see more white feminists address issues that women of color face. Some WOC have given up and call themselves Womanists to address these issues they feel mainstream feminists don't address adequately.

Oh okay. I understand now. Then I've actually known some that were just pro feminist and yes they were mostly men.

being pro-feminism, you're a feminist, you just don't identify yourself as one. You think woman are equal to men, you're feminist. Call yourself pro-feminist, fine, you're "pro-feminist"

I'd say that people in general ARE feminists, they just don't understand what it means. The definition of feminism has become so warped by society that when I say I'm a feminist, my friends look at me and flat-out say that I am not. They don't understand what it means at its core.

A few years ago, I only considered myself to be someone who supported or liked the idea of equality, but wouldn't have identified as a feminist myself. Nowadays I'm a bit more comfortable calling myself a feminist just for having that mindset.

To be honest, I personally have no problem with any kind of person identifying as a feminist. Males and non-binary gender people can be feminists, seeing as the movement supports everyone. Race shouldn't come into whether or not you are a feminist, but sometimes your race has an effect on exactly which feminist problems you face (some problems are caused by a mix of sexism and racism, so they don't apply to every race).
