Still Flying — Surprisingly good fan continuation of Firefly. Check it out. 

Now, I'm not really one to read "fan fic" or any of that kind of stuff, but someone on a forum I frequent posted a comment about stillflying.net and how good it is. Intrigued, I decided to check it out. As soon as I started it, I was hooked.

Yes, you may be doubting the quality of some "fan continuation" of your most beloved series. But I beg you, just give it a chance—it really is good. Now, it's not Joss Whedon and Tim Minear and his crew, but it's still good. It's written in the form of a script, not prose, and I think that really works in it's favor. Yes, it's missing the audio and visual components of the show, but it's all we've got, and like I said, it's surprisingly good.

Ok, I haven't started reading it yet, but I checked out the website and ....Just on the basis of the time, effort and imagination put into this project it deserves a big "Wow". Love the design of the discs and how the whole thing is layed out. Like you, dangerousbiped, I've never been into fanfiction, but I think I'm going to have to make an exception for this!
