Frozen Article: Why Jelsa Can't Happen in Frozen 2.

I never really liked this ship, which is why I've happily ignored it for months, and successfully have done so until recently. I've seen several fans rumoring how Jelsa "has" to happen in Frozen 2. They even started a FUCKING PETITION to put Jack Frost from Rise of the Guardians in Frozen 2.

I am fine with crossover shipping with Disney and Dreamworks, I even ship Elsa with Hiccup in How to Train Your Dragon. It's true I have many issues with this ship, but I don't care if u ship Jelsa.

But just because a ship becomes popular, does not mean it will happen.

I could see a Disney character playing a cameo in other Disney movies, as it has happened many times before. But Jack Frost isn't even Disney and fans want him to have a HUGE role in the upcoming movie.

I'm sorry, I know this has been zei before, but the fact they are two different companies already makes it unlikely. But Disney and Dreamworks? I'm sorry, dream all u want but Disney and Dreamworks wil never team up. Ever. Period.

"But winterspirit! So many people love Jelsa! Disney would make so much money!"

This is literally the best reason I've heard, but unfortunately I would have to disagree.

Yes, while Jelsa has many fans, lately it has gained a lot of haters. This means Frozen would lose a lot of supporters and the only people really who would want to watch it would be Jelsa fans.

That means less money.

Plus, Disney would be using a Dreamworks character, which means Dreamworks will want money too. So really, they wouldn't be making much money.

"But Both Jack and Elsa should team up! Both have ice powers! They could help each other out!"

What the hell is Anna for then? Am I the only one who thinks Jennifer Lee will not replace the sisterly relationship in the movie with a love interest?

Even if Elsa does get a love interest, I think the main relationship in the movie will be Anna and Elsa's. That was the relationship everyone liked, I don't think they're going to ruin it with a love interest.

Who would ruin a cute, sisterly relationship.?

I'm sorry, but if Disney is smart they won't use Jack Frost in Frozen 2.

It just gives me a headache.

glelsey Haha wow, I didn't realise how serious people were about this! When I saw the title of this article in my updates, I thought, "surely this goes without saying! Why did someone feel the need to actually write an entire article about it?" But yeah, there are people out there who really seem to believe (or want to believe) that the sequel is going to be some dodgy crossover fanfic. Anyway, I just researched into this myself and found 3 petitions on change.org immediately. Two have already been shut down. Honestly, though, there's nothing to worry about. Besides what you already mentioned, there are some other reasons why these petitions won't work: 1. Animated movies take years to complete in production alone and Frozen 2 is due to be released in 2018. Preproduction will be done by now. They're too late. 2. Animation companies take pitches on board from employees, not random people on the internet. 3. Disney isn't cheap. So yeah, if you don't like the couple, don't panic. It is kind of amusing the way some people think the animation industry works though. XD

WinterSpirit809 ^Ikr? People need to understand that Disney is a buisness like anything else. They do most things for money and Dreamworks is a rival. I don't think I've ever seen rivals come together in buisness..... Besides if Elsa were to have a love interest they would probably create a character. If Elsa and Jack Frost did come together it would probably be a new version.

glelsey There are rumours that she might have a love interest in the sequel, but like you said they would create a new, original character for that! Interesting point about "a new version" of Jack Frost! :) Personally, rather than a love interest, I think I'd prefer the idea of Jack Frost being Anna and Elsa's ancestor - possibly explaining where Elsa got her powers from in the first place! Although I don't really expect them to have gone in this direction, as there is already a [url=http://disney.wikia.com/wiki/Jack_Frost]Disney version[/url] of Jack Frost.

AliceElvish Preach lady Preach!! I so agree with you on this... I mean Jelsa is a good ship. But i just Dont understand why people would hope to think there would even be a movie with the Both of them... Its gonna destroy the whole purpose of the sisterly love for Frozen. I would rather prefer just as the characters staying in their original roles.. and i could Clearly see it that tooth would likely be the love intrest for Jack in Rise of the guardians I mean there are hints about it in the movie.. do correct if i am wrong tho xD

The ship of Jack Frost and Elsa is fine at first, but now I saw this ship is overrated and too forced, I'm sure the main reason they ship them was because they both have ice powers. I even think they are more better to be siblings/best friend rather than a couple. And the petitions, that's so silly! They are from different companies! That was a strong reason actually, but it seems they are obssesed a lot with them and doesn't care about that. I started to dislike those Jelsa fandom now.

CanerAkcay I dont ship elsa with jack, hiccup, Tadashi or Hans, I ship elsa from disney with ryu from capcom

Emanuel22322 These two characters actually, although on the outside seem to be very different have a lot in common personality wise. Their sacrifices and love for their younger siblings (Jack died to save his younger sister. Elsa isolated herself to protect her sister whom she cared about even though it was killing her inside; sacrificing some of her childhood, all of her teen’s years, the start of her adult life just to keep Anna and her family safe from herself), and their loneliness, isolation: Jack was alone for hundreds of years, unable to interact with someone, while that Elsa was isolated in her room, far away from everyone, keeping herself in isolation).

ILoveElsa2006 What you're saying makes total sense. Even I'm a non Jelsa shipper myself. I'm not trying to bash the ship, but I just think Jelsa is too annoying and pretty overrated TBH.
