Gwendoline Christie says Game of Thrones Season 6 is “More Epic”

I love how Lopez tries to get Christie to spill the beans on Jon Snow. Notice, however, that she does not deny that Jon does in fact come back from the dead. I also like how she acknowledges the fact that filming both

in a wonderful problem to have. I wonder if the reason we rarely saw Brienne in Season 5 was because she was filming

. Remember, we saw Brienne in basically three major scenes in Season 5:

Finding Sansa at the Inn at the Crossroads and then dispatching the House Arryn guards.

She was briefly in other scenes, but they were a far cry from Brienne’s spotlight-stealing scenes in Season 4…like when she kicked Sandor Clegane’s ass, to name just one.

I can’t wait for more Brienne of Tarth! Her story last season started off awesome, then ended on a dull note. I hope we see her duel someone important.

If I hear the word ‘epic’ to describe Season 6 one more time…

I hear you, and it worries me a bit because most fans seem to use the word ‘epic’ to mean ‘nonstop action/battle scenes,’ which are not what this fan wants from GoT.

I’m over the word epic… have been for a while now…

Still pisses me off that they diverted from the books and had Stannis murdered just to service Brienne as a character

Yep. BUT, we don’t know if Stannis is going to be killed off promtly in the upcoming TWOW. Could be that D @ D know more than we do! And if he was already going to be killed off……well it’s no loss then for him to have bought the farm at the end of season 5.

Having said that, I am actually a fan of Stannis, until he killed his daughter.

I feel like this either suggested her impending death in one franchise or the end of a character arc in the other. As in, she was somehow saying (through her relief) that the scheduling conflict is now somehow over, meaning that either Phasma or Brienne’s arc concludes in Star Wars 7 or Game6.

She is a great after for brienne. Gods, she is a homely woman.
