i am not gay but think that theres nothing wrong with gay people of being gay. anyone else like this?

I'm glad I'm not the only one! I thought I was weird for being bi and supporting gays. It made me feel like I was out of place. I'm glad there is a gay rights spot; I wanted to kom bij the lesbians spot, but I felt like I really had no right talking there. But this spot is kind of for everyone. :D

But yeah, I am one of those people. I felt very strange about it for the longest time; I love gay people and think they're awesome, and I greatly respect them because they can't help but be themselves, and in doing so they're unique. But I wasn't gay myself, and almost everyone in my life who isn't gay is against gayness entirely. They never respect them as being different and just leave it be. So I thought I was an oddball. Glad I'm not too much. XD

I just don't understand why straight people can't just leave gays alone, though. It's none of their business! No one really has any right to decide who's allowed to marry who, and that only male/female relationships are 'right.' It's not. No one can say that they can define love, and that it only comes in one form. It obviously doesn't (i.e. mother's love for daughter, daughter's love for mother, love of pet, love of friend, etc.). No one thinks exactly the same, but we must be open minded and allow others to be themselves and be different, even if it clashes with our own beliefs. Because who knows what's really right? Why can't we just leave others be instead of getting all pissy?

Yes. There is NOTHING wrong with being gay. People use different excuses, but really, it's all for one reason that they don't like it; they are homophobic and prejudiced and closed minded. Don't bother with them; it would be just as silly for them to say these same things about anyone who has hazel eyes of something.

Honestly, being against gay people is like being racist! Some people think that people who are gay are 'possessed'. I'm not lesbian, but seriously! There is something messed up with that!

Yeah i agree with you. I consider myself a straight person but I don't mind at all that a lot of people out there are gay(luv my vrienden that are like this! XD) and this is how I see it; why would u force a homosexual person to like a different sex person when they will never like that person! it's just like if u would force a straight person to like a same sex person it just doesn't make sense :O i really hope discrimination against gay people will end soon! :D

I'm not gay, but I agree with you. People should have the right to love whoever they want, regardless of gender, race, of age (to an extent). Saying gays shouldn't have rights is just as prejudiced as saying black people can't go to certain schools, of women can't vote.

Thank god it's not just me. I agree with every word LadyLilith says. I'm a straight gay suporter and the people I live with are all Catholics who despise gays and though I'm catholic too, I believe in equal love.

Oh i am! i dont hate gays i just hate if a girl that i already hate is gay and likes me that way. Like i dont hate my friend because she might possibly like me its just shes a backstabbing beep. she plans to datum the guy i told her i liked when we were friends.

I'm not gay either! In fact, I'm straight but I have a slight attraction towards girls (I don't consider myself bisexual, though.) But there's nothing wrong with being gay. I support gays, lesbians, bisexuals, and transgendered people. Glad I'm not the only one like this! :D

I am definitely a supporter of gay people and I am straight.

I believe in equal rights for ALL people, no matter race, religion, sexual orientation, etc. Discrimination is wrong. I don't have any gay vrienden yet, that I know of, but I think anyone who has a problem with gay people needs to get over themselves. People should be able to be who they really are without fear of hate of discrimination.

I am against the ban on gay marriage and can't believe it is still illegal in most states.
