That's it? That finale left me with so many questions. The way Luke and Lorelai ended was so stupid!! They barely even spoke in this episode. This has been a great disservice to all of the loyal fans who have stuck by the show for seven years.

I thought that it ended the way it should have. Rory got a job, Luke and Loralai kissed, and they ended it with Rory and Loralai were in the diner eating and talking, I thought it was really good. I am so sad to see it be over though, I am definitly going to miss new shows.

I loved the finale episode. It seemed to be the perfect way to say good-bye to the Gilmore Girls. It ended the way it should especially with the family scene at the end, just eating and talking in Luke's diner. I shall miss this show!

i honestly loved this episode. i feel as if they answered many of the burning questions in the best ways. luke and lorelai have been building up for the past three or four episodes, so i don't think it came out of the blue or anything. rory got a job doing what she loves AND she met christiane amanpour (her dream of forever). the town was able to say their goodbyes to rory and to the audience. richard and emily showed their love for lorelai and we found out that friday dinners were to continue. i thought it was very well done, especially considering they didn't know it was a series finale when they shot it (they only thought they were filming a season finale)! so that's my two cents.

I answered no, but I think it's just because I'm bitter about it ending so abruptly. I found out it was ending last week. I haven't had much time to adjust to the thought of not having the Gilmore girls in my life. Kind of how Lorelai didn't have enough time to adjust to Rory leaving.

I'm glad that Luke and Lorelai kissed and that Rory got a job, but I'm just not ready for it to end. I think there is so much more that they could do. I guess I would have liked it better if Luke and Lorelai had gotten back together before it, because all the "goodbye" stuff worked for the episode.

It was a horrible way to end the show. Rory used to want to be a real journalist and now she's working for an online magazine? Logan was perfect for her and she ruined it. Luke treated Lorelai like crap the first time around so I have no idea why they ended up together. Such a disappointment.

This show isn't nearly as good as it used to be. It's not as funny or as interesting. I'm just glad they finished it before it got worse. They did answer most of the questions too, even if it all did seem forced. Lorelai and Luke have a future again, Rory gets a job, life continues in Stars Hollow. I'm also really happy Rory didn't marry Logan.

such a great show but... the way they drag you along for 7 years then at the end the dont even finish it? i bet if amy sherman palladino was still on it it would have ended right. but she said in an interview video which was filmed recently ( while the writers strike is accurring) that she can't make a gilmore movie unless the fans want her to. and she has to get permission from some guy in high places.

I just finished watching the series today. (I missed a couple episodes while it was on TV last year so I had to wait for the DVD... bummer) But, I was VERY disappointed in the ending. I felt like I grew up with Rory... I grew up with just my mom, we graduated high school together and I just felt like the show was my life... only Rory is prettier than I am... lol. I just hate how it ended, I know people say to stop while they are ahead, but I think that one more season would have made the show end the best way it could have. (And I still resent the CW... I refuse to watch anything on there... EVER!)

I hated the way the series ended. It left you with soo many questions. Does Rory end up together with Dean or Jess or Logan or Tristan or Marty or someone her grandmother set her up with or someone at her new job? How does the job work out for Rory? Do Luke and Lorelai get married? How does Rory's and Lorelai's relationship last even though Rory is soo far away? I still can't believe it's over!! I just wish they could still be on the air.... I mean the show is more popular now than it has ever been. Gosh if the CW had any sense they would get those actors and actresses back soo that they could go on with the show.Ughh!!!

i didnt think it ended too badly,
Luke and Lorelai are back together as it looks
and it ended the same way as pilot, in Luke's Diner.
And although not all of my questions were answered,
i think another season would be a little difficult to do,
i think they should just make a movie to sum it all up well.
(Luke and Lorelai get married and Rory gets back with Logan or even Jess, in my opinion)
but i will still miss Gilmore Girls A LOT, my favorite show!

It's a difficult question... I hated that it ended and in that respect I would have hated any end to the series. I mean i am glad that they brought a little closure (with rory's job and L&L) but would have liked to have seen like at least a little more of L&L back together... it was a rushed ending and i think that us fans deserved more from a show that we followed for 7 years, however i am not sure if i could have coped with another season with the new writers it was not the same AT ALL without Amy and Dan

It was too sad! I always imagined the series would end with Luke and Lorelai finally getting married, not another kiss after like 3 break-ups. Plus breaking up the great thing Logan and Rory had going was an awful way to end the series. They should at least have given the viewers hope for them. It made me bawl the whole last episode because i thought Logan was great. Plus i know that was not how it was supposed to end since the original writers left the show. I wish they would make a movie!

I answered no. Although a good ending, I felt like it left to much open and both girls were still single. I know so many of you wanted Jess to be with Rory, but I really feel she is meant to be with Logan, they complimented each other and pushed each other to do things they normally wouldn't have done. I didn't like that he gave her an ultimatum, but if there was a movie I would like it where she comes back from the campaign and Logan says he is willing to wait. I would love for Luke and Lorelai to get married and Richard and Emily to be a big part or their lives. I guess everyone has there own thoughts and feelings on how it should end, so maybe leaving it open for hope was the best way?
