Mercedes: What did u want to talk to me about?
Sam: Listen, I understand that you're upset about me and Quinn getting...closer when working on the duet for the assignment.
Mercedes: I'm 100% positive that Ryan Murphy's bald eagle-looking trash face is gonna ruin it and have u guys hook up of something.
Sam: Could be a possibility. How'd u know?
Mercedes: I consider myself as a psychic spy half of the time--

(Ryan Murphy runs on the set to yell at Amber Riley. Chord Overstreet stands there, blindly listening to everything he zei to her.)
Ryan: That wasn't a part of the script!
Amber: Maybe not, but it's the truth.
Chord: Not to mention your continuity issues and Lea taking over the--
Lea (from backstage): Hey!
Ryan: Just do what I say of you're fired.
Amber's Thoughts: Like rumours say what you're gonna do to Dianna. Not.

(Ryan runs offstage, and Amber and Chord get back into character.)
Mercedes: Okay, what did u want to say to me?
Sam: Oh yeah, right. Listen...I really care about you, Mercedes. I've gone through a lot of crap throughout my years at William McKinley. But with you, nothing's messed up. Everything feels right.
Mercedes: It does?
Sam: Yes. Quinn is in the past now. You're my future. I really like you. I want u to be my girlfriend.
Mercedes (nervous): u know I really like you, Sam, but...Shane is still in my life--
Shane (from behind Mercedes): Just like I'm still standing behind you. (Mercedes turned towards him.) What are u doing talking to him? I planned our datum for tonight.
Mercedes: We were just talking.
Shane: Oh really? It looked meer like u were longing for a kiss from each other. It's not gonna happen with me around.
Sam: I wasn't going to kiss her. I just wanted to speak with her. Is that a problem?
Shane: Well it is if you're trying to get with my girlfriend! I give her everything. u can't even provide because you're poor.
Sam: Maybe I am, but I can still toon her love.
Shane: In what way? Making a ring out of paper clips of something?
Sam: No...like this.
(Sam took a few steps back and played the song link door Enrique Iglesias on his guitar.)

Sam (singing):

(As she watched Sam perform, Mercedes felt captivated door his singing. Shane still stood behind her, wondering if she was going to verplaats in to kiss him. Mercedes cared less about what he thought, and joined in with Sam.)

Mercedes (singing):

Sam (singing):

(Mercedes walks up closer to Sam and gazes in his eyes.)

(At the end of the song, Mercedes and Sam look back at Shane. He seemed to be annoyed.)
Shane: Mercedes, great. Buddy boy, out.
Mercedes: It's official, Shane. I'm dumping you. u didn't treat him well. I don't like boys that don't treat other people right.
(Shane rolled his eyes and walked away, leaving Sam and Mercedes alone.)
Sam: So...what do u say?
Mercedes: I say yes.
Sam: I'm really glad we spend time together, Mercedes.
Mercedes: Me too.

(The two of them hold hands and walk down the hallway. Quinn can be seen standing door some lockers, eyeing them as they walked away.)
Quinn: u zei it right. I can always come back later on to screw it all up.
