honestly i sound like an old prune here, but as a religious person and a big believer of celibacy, i don't really like the way that there are hardly any girls who haven't lost there virginity above the age of sixteen on tv, and although i don't really like Rachel i think she's a really good role model for people, which is why i'd like her to remain celibate.

I'm not personally religious or an advocate of celibacy or something, but I do believe in waiting for the right time and mindset. Rachel is young, insecure, often emotionally dependant and not in a healthy relationship, so I don't see her as ready, and don't think it would lead to anything I'd be interested in as a viewer right now. Someone like Emma, I can see fans wishing she'd take that step, but I don't think Rachel should be in any rush, or that it would lead to anything good for her character right now, and it's not like the show in general is barren of sexually active hijinks. At this time I wouldn't get anything out of it as a viewer, and I don't think she'd get anything good out of it as a character :)

I think Rachel is a good role model for teens and I don't think anyone should lose their virginity until they are ready and in love.
