They broke up because Spencer was with Skyler. So Teddy found out and they broke up. The new episode u were talking about, u must have missed the other episodes. On one other episode, they got back together. The episode that they were talking on the computer, they got back together and chat because they were far away from eachother. Hope this answer helped!!
