Ed ended up being a no toon at the Canadian award show. Anyone know why?

My theory is the whole tape thing. He was probably advised not to b/c we all know reporters they would have asked & Leighton is a good friend he'd probably get pissed & not want to respond b/c he knows she made a mistake & the media is going to rip her apart b/c of it. Plus the issue is probably being handled legally in regards to how the tape got out. This sucks!
