“Dan, I’m going.” Jenny informed her older brother while grabbing a rucksack off of the keuken-, keuken chair.
“One sec. Jeez, don’t u have any patience?” He yelled from his bedroom.
“No!” Jenny laughed, holding the apartment door open waiting for her brother. What was taking him so long? He’d had nearly all morning to prepare for the dag out. The dag out in the sun, on the beach. Heaven. It was for her, but she couldn’t begin to imagine how awkward it would be between Dan and Serena. of were they over that door now? He seemed to keep everything to himself lately. One of the specialties he’d picked up over the last couple of months.
“I swear, I’m going.” Jenny tried to fake her footsteps going down the stairs, still holding the doorknob in her hand.
“I know you’re still there Jen!” Dan laughed. He grabbed the rucksack that lay, meer than less empty, on his messy bed. What was it a guy was supposed to wear? It was the summer, but yet again it was a bit chilly. He didn’t know whether a guy that had just broken up with the girl he loved was supposed to wear three quarter trousers. All this beach-thing experience had made him learn why girls make such a fuss about their clothing.

Some of the things the kids in school would shout at each other, some of the things that he’d began to understand, but not fully. He was never going to know what ran through a girl’s head, and to be honest he wasn’t sure he wanted to.

“Well, well, well. Isn’t it Queen Blair Waldorf.” Chuck zei coldly, his voice reflecting the temperature of the dim morning. “I thought you’d be playing princess stories with Mr. Happy.” He laughed.
Blair turned to face him, scanning his ridiculous clothing. “For your information I’m only here because Serena wanted me to come. Its Saturday so Thomas is playing golf, with his friends, which I’d like to point out, u have none.”
“I wouldn’t say none.” Chuck teased. He walked passed her and headed towards the beach.
Blair leaned against his limousine’s bonnet while his driver got some things from the boot of the mysterious car. She couldn’t help but smile with Chuck, even though he seemed so negative. He had the level of sarcasm that seemed so cold and evil, but he meant it to be funny. Somehow.
Blair Waldorf shook her head with a faint smile on her face and followed Chuck towards the beach. According to Chuck, the strand should be deserted. That he’d, somehow, pulled some strings to have a little group party on the strand without anyone disturbing them. As she walked silently towards the sea that shone due to the strength of the sun’s rays she heard Arthur, the limousine driver cursing something under his breath as he struggled to get the umbrellas, and the other various objects that Chuck had managed to cram into the back of the car.
When she arrived on the strand Chuck sat on a piece of wood that was smooth, caused door the force of the sea to find itself on this beach.
“Didn’t Serena and Eric come with you?” Blair asked.
Chuck shrugged his shoulders as he poked a stick into the ashes that lay on the sand.
“I don’t think so,” He smiled. “No, Eric wanted to pick up Jonathan.” He explained still poking the stick into the remains of logs and other various boom branches.
Blair heard a car door slam shut from the car park.
“Run along Blair, it might be Serena.” Chuck zei coldly.
She ignored him and dragged another piece of wood closer to the cirkel of ashes, muttering under her breath as she did so.
“It’s probably Arthur. After all, u did leave him to shift all that lot from your boot. God knows what u packed in there. Maybe he’s actually finished unpacking the boot.” Blair responded maliciously.
She sighed and sat on the log, waiting for who might appear over the small sand dune that sandwiched between the car park and the beach.
Chuck dragged the last piece of wood volgende to the fire. Serena and Blair sat on another, laughing at him. He peered ungrateful on the two. Everyone had arrived. Eric sat volgende to Jonathan, sharing a story between one another. Nate sat close to Serena, waiting for Chuck to sit down.
Everyone had a conversation going except for the Humphrey’s. Dan sat close to Eric, a can of lager in his hand as his thumb followed the cirkel rim. Jenny sat the opposite side of Eric and Jonathan, doing the identical thing as Dan with her drink bottle. Vanessa had gone, to the ladies. It made Blair think, Where on earth is the ladies room on a beach.
The atmosphere got darker. Not only the time but the attitude one had for one another.
“Maybe this wasn’t such a good idea.” Serena whispered to Blair.
“It wasn’t mine. Blame Chuck. If it was up to me we’d be on the rooftops having a party, where it was warm.” Blair murmured while covering her mouth with a cold hand. “The Chucker…”
“Blair…” Serena started as she saw Chuck get to his feet and head for them. She coughed to try and signal Blair to stop.
“All right ladies?” He came to sit door Blair.
“Oh, and anyway, he told me to pick anyone I wanted,” Serena laughed along with Blair even though she had no idea what she meant. She understood what Blair meant. She was trying to make Chuck jealous.

“What did u get to pick out?” Chuck asked, trying to catch the two girls out.
“A necklace.” The two zei simultaneously.
Chuck raised his eyebrows until they disappeared under his fringe. “What kind?”
This is sure to catch them out. He thought to himself triumphantly. There was a slight pause between them.
“Diamond.” Blair was the one that spoke. “Isn’t that right Serena?” She nudged her with an elbow.
“Yes.”
He shook his head, he seemed rapt in himself. He headed towards Eric and Jonathan. The two girls watched him through him past the flames as he stood in front of Eric. Eric nodded frantically while Jonathan was talking to Jenny, minding their own business. When Chuck turned around Blair and Serena started a conversation. They pretended they were never looking.
As they talked about nothing Chuck pointed towards the two and again zei something to Eric.
“Diamond, eh?” Serena started a sensible conversation.
“Yeah. If he asked me where it was I would’ve used this,” She held the diamond halsketting, ketting around her neck, “as the one that Thomas bought me.” She smiled successfully.
“You’re devious.”
“Tell me about it.” At that she glanced of the brand and saw Chuck looking at her. Identical to Serena and Blair earlier he pretended to be in deep conversation with Eric.
