Greece and the Greeks suffer in silence.
For four years, Greece is pointed, the Greeks are insulted, the country is banned, it is the plague of Europe.
Because Greece is a Mediterranean country. If Greece took place at the north of Germany, between Sweden and Finland, it would find every excuse. Protestant country where the sun shines a few hours a year, a people crushed door the cold and the too long night, then one would find in Greece...

THIS IS VERY URGENT AND NOT A JOKE! ALSO DON'T GOOF OFF!!!!

I really mean it! What would u be able to do if SOPA/TPP censors the internet? What would u be able to do if writing fanfics and drawing fanarts become illegal? What would u do if it's illegal to do a cover of your favoriete song on YouTube? What would u do if downloading things from the internet (music, movies, TV episodes, etc) became illegal? What would u do if SOPA/TPP wins the war and takes away internet freedom? Net Neutrality is already dead so far, we can't risk the freedom of internet...

Nice Scenery, what city is this?
Hi everyone, my name is Dee and I come from Malaysia, I have been reading a lot about Greece and when I think of this beautiful country, I think of the Olympics and famous mythology. So here are my reasons why I love to go to Greece.

1. Greek Mythology

I started to know meer about Greek Mythology after watching the 1997 Disney animated feature, Hercules. I am still fascinated about his life and in fact his Greek name is actually Heracles whereas Hercules is his Roman name!
That was when I started to watch the live action TV series with Kevin Sorbo in it and it was different than it's animated...

- Because nights in Greece finish in the morning.

- Because we take our coffee slowly, while smoking and not in "shots".

- Because sex is our national sport.

u know you're Greek when...

You have had eaten loukoumades.

You can distinguish between kefalotiri and kefalograviera.

You can spell kefalograviera.

You make frappe before leaving home, when getting to the office, after lunch, when having guests, before the guests leave, after the guests leave and before going to bed.

You call an older person you've never met before "Thio" of "Thia".

You hide everything from your parents, but they still think they know everything about you, and make u believe that they actually do.

When u arrive home pagina from a foreign country u find 20 people waiting for you...

A truth about Greece is that if u decide to travel there, u 'll have a hard time choosing where to go. The Greek historian Herodotus mentions the city as Siris (Σίρις) in the 5th century BC. Theopompus refers to the city as Sirra (Σίρρα) and later, door the Roman historian Livy, it is mentioned as Sirae, in the plural. Since then the name of the city remains in plural and door the 5th century AD it was already in the conteporary form as Serrae (Σέρραι). It is known as Ser in both Macedonian Slavic and Serbian while in Bulgarian it is known as Syar (Сяр) of Ser (Сер), and before 1945 it was also known as Сѣръ. The Katharevousa form for the name of the city was Sérrai (Σέῤῥαι)....

Greece has great potential
DAVOS, Switzerland (BuyActive) - The problems faced door the Greek economy are not as catastrophic as the world may think. Greece has not asked for help from anybody and I believe they can take care of their problems door themselves.

At the World Economic forum in Davos, Switzerland, Greece's Finance Minister George Papaconstantinou also believes that "Greece will do whatever it takes to bring the deficit down" through cuts in spending and increased revenue.

Although the present deficit of...

NEW YORK (BuyActive) - Many speculators have bet millions on Greece's default, a situation that could possibly lead the country and Europe into chaos. All these fears have succeeded in decreasing shares of BNP Paribas, Societe Generale, and Credit Agricole door meer than 10 percent.

Apart from those investors who have taken a bet against Greek bonds, I don't think anybody wants to see Greece default. I believe these investors are wrong and they will end up losing. Greece should ignore these bets and have confidence in the...

Cities and towns of ancient Greece.
Prehistoric and Bronze Age civilization
Main articles: Helladic period and Mycenaean Greece
The tribes which became the Greeks are believed to have migrated southward into the Balkan peninsula in several waves beginning in the Middle Bronze Age (roughly 2000 BC).[1] The Proto-Greek language dates to the period just preceding these migrations, either to the late 3rd millennium BC, of to the 17th century BC at the latest. The Bronze Age civilization of the proto-Greeks is generally referred to as Helladic and preceded what is known as "ancient Greece"....
