Rikki has always been my favourite. I gravitated immediately to her rebelliousness, her fiery personality, her innate anger at socio-economic differences, and her ability to adapt in any situation. She's stubborn and hot-headed, but she's also a really loyal friend, and a big softie at heart. I love how the show works to peel back the layers of metaphorical armor she puts on so that we can see all the amazing facets to her character.

My second favourite is Cleo. I really love how sweet she is and how she grows and learns from her naiveté, but how she never loses her good heart and her adorkableness.

Thirdly, Emma. I probably relate to Emma the most; I'm a staunch rule follower, I'm cautious, stubborn, opinionated, and stuck in my ways just like Emma is. Emma is a great leader, and she's highly intelligent, organized, and doesn't put up with nonsense. She is vital to the group dynamic as well, because she is the leader, and I think she was sorely missed in season 3.

Fourthly, Bella. I like Bella, but I can't get a good grip on her character. The most that I got from her personality is that she's confident on stage singing, but that she's otherwise a little shy, that she's very amiable, and that she has a massive crush on Will. So, she's obviously a mild character and not a hard pill to swallow by any means, and she's easily likable, but I just find her... I don't know, a bit flat.

As for Charlotte, I honestly despise her. She was a good antagonist, because she was able to get under Rikki, Emma, and especially Cleo's skin perfectly, but she was just a terrible character. Like she had the worst qualities, like paranoia, neuroticism, rudeness, utterly insecure, extreme aggressiveness, etc. Also, I felt like season 2 spent too much time on her. Yes, the story wanted to develop her as an antagonist, but I often felt she got more development than Rikki and Emma did.

Nooooo I hated Bellas character... Can't believe she's the top pick :O ... I'm pretty undecided on the other 3. I love em all :)
