Meg was standing in front of a modern looking building. She pressed the intercom volgende to the door.
“Yes?” a female voice answered and Meg recognized it.
“Good evening, …ma’am” Meg said. Politeness was something new to her. “We met this afternoon, outside the temp job office. u zei u might have work for me”
A short silence followed.
“Of course” the woman zei slowly. “Why don’t u come in? Just up the stairs” The woman hung up and a buzzing sound was heard. Meg pushed the door open and walked up the white stairs which was right in front of her.
Upstairs the woman...

Meg was sleeping on the couch. She was so bored she had fallen asleep. She abruptly woke up when someone was banging the door and she had to get up.
“What?” she asked grumpy when she saw Anna standing in the doorway.
“Can I come in?” she asked as she entered the motel room. Meg raised her eyebrows as she closed the door. “We need to talk” Anna zei casual. “You probably wonder why I didn’t fly into your motel room”
“Not really, no” Meg commentaar gegeven slowly. “What do we have to talk about?” she asked slightly nervous. Now that she was a human, angels really scared the crap...

If Dean and Sam had hoped Cas would be in a better mood after putting some food in his stomach, their hopes were now buried very deep into the ground. After finishing his lunch he threw his plastic plate on the floor.
“Why did u do that?” Sam hissed, as he leaned to the floor to pick up the garbage. Cas shrugged. “You’re acting really odd, Castiel. Has anyone told you?” Sam zei a little annoyed. Cas shrugged again. “Stop…shrugging. If this is about Meg, then just tell me”
“I don’t have to tell u anything” Cas replied with his gravelle voice. He stood and as Sam wanted...

“Your résumé is extremely…blank” the man in the temp job office noticed as he looked at the paper Meg had gegeven him. She had written it this morning. “You’ve worked as a nurse in a mental clinic for some weeks. Do u have a degree as a nurse?”
“Yeah” Meg nodded. “I should’ve brought it with me”
“Why don’t u go home pagina and come back with your degree. Then, maybe, I can do something for you” the man said.
“All right” Meg answered and she got up. She turned around and left the office. She leaned against the uithangbord and took a deep breath. She didn’t have a degree....

Sam was back at the motel, when the door opened and Ellen and Jo came in. Sam looked up and his eyes widened. “Jo” he sighed relieved. He walked to her and threw his arms around her. “You’re alive, thank God”
“Yeah” Jo said, tapping Sam’s shoulder.
Sam scratched his neck. “Eh, do u want some coffee? I can make some” he suggested.
“No, don’t bother, we’re good” Ellen said.
“It’s no bother” Sam said. “I was going to make some anyway” And thus he walked to the kitchen.
“Where’s Dean? I’d like to see him. He wasn’t in his room anymore” Jo said.
“Eh,...

Cas took Ellen’s arm and disappeared. He landed in the ICU, volgende to Jo’s bed.
“Warn me if someone’s coming. I don’t know how long this will take” Cas zei dispassionately. Ellen nodded and walked to the door. She opened it and walked outside.
Cas sank down on the bed and lay his hands on both Jo’s temples. He closed his eyes and prayed for Jo to open her eyes.
And she did. At first everything was a blur. She reached out her hand and touched Cas’ face. “Dean?” she mumbled weak. When Cas’ face became clearer she withdrew her hand. “I’m sorry”
Cas didn’t reply, but...

Cas appeared outside Dean’s room, ignoring the short shrieks of the nurses. He opened the door and Sam looked up.
“You came” he zei relieved.
“I’m sorry I left” Cas said. “There were things I needed to take care of”
“Yeah, sure, but can u save that for later?” Sam said. “Right now we really need your help”
“What’s going on?” Cas asked numb.
“Zoey didn’t just shoot Dean. She also shot Jo” Sam said.
“Jo’s dead?” Cas asked soft. Sam shook his head. “No, not yet” he said. “But her life’s hanging door a thread and u might be her only hope”
Cas...

Sam held the door of the hospital open, while Cas carried the unconscious Dean inside. Before they could call for help an emergency doctor rushed to them and called for a stretcher. A male nurse rode a stretcher to them and Cas lay Dean down on it. As the doctor drove to the emergency room, she asked what happened.
“He’s been shot” Cas quickly answered.
“What’s his blood type?” the doctor needed to know. Sam answered and the doctor drove the stretcher into the emergency room. “Sorry, u have to wait outside” she zei as she closed the doors, leaving Sam and Cas outside.
Sam ran...

Elena opened her eyes and gasped for air. She sat up and pulled the threads on her body. She climbed out of bed and opened the door.
She covered her ears when she heard dozens of shoes stepping on the floor, people talking as if they were screaming through a megaphone.
“Shut up!” she screamed and a few staff members turned around.
“Are u alright, miss?” a nurse asked. Elena shook her head confused. She leaned against the room. Everything was a blur. “I’ll get a doctor” the nurse and she looked around to find one.
Elena hurried away. She was hungry. She needed to eat something...

Bonnie grabbed her head and fell on her knees. She’d been struck with a sudden brain attack and she imagined this was what Damon had felt when she attacked him.
“Bonnie!” Matt exclaimed. He wanted to help her stand, but she raised her hand at him. She then stood herself.
“Damon tried to talk to me” she started. “Veronica has Elena. She and Jeremy are in the same place. There’s fire”
“This is ridiculous” Matt muttered. “Can u do something about it?”
“I’m going to try” Bonnie replied determined.
Katherine and Stefan felt their skin burn door the sun, when suddenly...

Veronica ordered them to stop in front of a stake. In the center there was a big pole where they were being tied onto.
“Where’s Elena?” Damon begged to know.
“She’s with her brother” Veronica replied.
“Don’t hurt her. She’s sick” Damon appealed.
“She’s just a girl. It’s not her fault she’s the doppelganger. She wouldn’t hurt a fly. She’d sacrifice herself for her loved ones anytime” Stefan tried to reason with Veronica.
“Shut up, both of you. She’s responsible for Tyler’s transition to a hybrid. It’s a good thing he was the only hybrid ever created”...

Damon was sitting in the cafeteria of the hospital. He was still angry with Elena. Though angry wasn’t exactly the right word. Defeated was meer like it. It felt like the universe was doing everything to keep them apart. Well, Damon meant what he’d said. If Elena died, so would he. He wasn’t going to spend another century and a half alone and hated. Sure, there would be other women begging for his attention, but none of them would be Elena Gilbert.
“Damon?” he heard a weak voice say from behind him. He looked over his shoulder. Elena was standing in the doorway, a blanket over her...

Matt, Keith, Bonnie, Jeremy and Veronica were sitting around the keuken-, keuken table. Veronica had gegeven each a cup of coffee, in order to stay awake.
“Thank you” Jeremy zei uncomfortable. “You don’t really know Elena. It’s not like u owe her anything”
Veronica cast him a grin that didn’t reach her eyes. “Anything for my soldiers” she replied charming.
“How’s that going?” Matt asked, trying to keep a conversation. “Do u need anyone else in your…army?”
“Why? Interested?” Veronica returned, raising her eyebrows. “For now the training’s canceled” She turned...

Though visiting uur was long over, it didn’t stop Stefan from sneaking into Elena’s bedroom. Elena had fallen asleep shortly after Bonnie had left. Stefan had expected Damon to be in the room, but Elena happened to be alone.
Stefan walked to the bed and sank down on it. Elena, sensing his stare, opened her eyes and frowned.
“Stefan?” she asked sleepy.
“It’s okay. Go back to sleep” Stefan hushed, regretting he woke her.
“No” Elena moaned and she sat up difficult. “I’m up” She cast him a faint, tired smile. “I’m glad u came”
“I had to come and see you, but I didn’t...

“Veronica, wait up!” Jeremy yelled as Veronica opened the door of her car. She took a deep breath and tried to keep a straight face.
“What?”
Jeremy scratched the back of his head, searching for words. “Did u hear me talking inside? Because I was just talking to myself” he lied. He tried to read Veronica’s face to see if she was buying it.
“Of course u were” Veronica replied in a serious tone. She stepped in and after she inserted the key in the ignition she looked back at Jeremy. “You need a ride?” she offered.
“Actually, I was going…” Jeremy started, but Veronica...

Elena had pulled up the sheets. She was getting cold. After Damon had left she’d started crying again and her face was wet from tears. Was this one of the many side effects chemo had? of was this part of the cancer?
“Hi, there” a small voice zei from the end of the bed.
“Go away” Elena zei with heavy voice. “I don’t want anyone to see me like this” She added as she tried to dry her eyes.
“I know, which is why I brought this” Caroline zei secretive and she lifted a bag. She walked towards the bed. “I’m going to make u all pretty again. Now, make some room”

Damon and Elena were lying on the bed, Elena’s head resting on Damon’s chest. “I believe we’ve been here before” Elena mumbled.
“Hmm” Damon confirmed. “Do u remember what u zei back then?”
Elena relegated on the bed and closed her eyes. “I zei I wouldn’t leave you, that I would stay with u until the very end”
Elena felt a teardrop on her head, but she didn’t look up. “Promise me u won’t leave now either”
“I promise” Elena whispered and she pinched Damon’s hand. She knew it was a lie. She knew that no matter how much medication she was taking, the...

Three days later.

Elena was lying on her hospital bed. She felt terrible. She had heard people say the treatment for cancer was a bitch, but she didn’t how much that was true…until now. She felt her stomach turn and climbed out of bed. If it hadn’t been for her sore limps she would’ve run to the bathroom, but now she had to settle for shuffling as fast as her body allowed her to. Once arrived she dropped on her knees and aimed for the toilet.
It seemed an eternity had passed when she withdrew herself from the toilet and jerked off some toilet paper to clean her face. Last time she had...

Elena was still in the hospital. She had traded the bed for the seat, which was much meer comfortable than the former.
The door opened and Damon came back with two coffees. He gave one to Elena and she took a sip, curling her nose.
“Is there alcohol in this?” she asked surprised.
“Oh, right, that’s mine” Damon apologized. “Sorry” He switched the cups and took a sip from his coffee with bourbon. “Why aren’t u in bed?” he asked a little accusatory.
“Damon, don’t start” Elena zei in begging tone.
Damon shut his mouth and signaled that she had to get up. Elena pulled...

Caroline was sitting at the bar in Mystic Grill, waiting for Derek. She had spotted him in the café a lot lately, but she had always thought he was just hanging around. Now she knew better. Derek didn’t just hang around. He kept his eyes and ears open to make sure he absorbed every important detail any of them zei and then he’d hurry back to Veronica to spill the gossip.
The door opened and Derek appeared. He noticed Caroline at the bar and he sensed trouble, but as fast as he was, Caroline was faster. She grabbed his kraag and forced him toward the men’s room.
“Hi, babe” a guy...
