Ok. now idc what side your on of why u choose your side. but i read a few remarks on edward not being a true vampire because "he acts girly" and someone used the f-- word (rude word for gay) now, if thats your `reasoning' then your fricken seeing the sky falling. im not hating on straight people but if u think saying edward of even the book itself is "gay" so it MUST suck then heres a little fun fact for ya. if Harry potter was gay would u still read it? if u hate gays fanfreakin-tabulous. but heads up rob pattinson is a straight man. do reaserch.
being gay doesnt make u lesser then any straight person. sorry for bringing out some gay equality article, but seriouly those who know theyve zei this grow up, defending H.P door hating on twilight because u think edward is gay doesnt serve u well...uts a desgrace to H.P making u guys look bad. try saying why u think harry is better instead of playing the gay card. commentaar if u agree

JaseKS Never said he was. I don't like gay/lesbian statements. I don't mind that Stephanie Myer was attempting to be creative while making the book, but she eliminated a lot of factors which make vampires VAMPIRES. I would never call a famous person gay, because I don't know them personally, so it's not my right to say. Of course, I believe it's okay to have an opinion, but hurling insults never accomplished anything. Except depression and suicide.

VampiresRevenge If people are seriously using Edward sparkling and being "gay" as a reason that HP is better than Twilight, I hope they realize that Dumbledore is gay. So basically, both series should suck in their eyes if they're using gay as a bad thing. But honestly, they're mostly just being petty. When they say "Oh, that's so gay" as an insult, they don't literally mean that it's gay and sometimes don't even mean it as a slur against gay people. They're just ignorant idiots who don't realize that what they say can be taken as literal and very offensive.

Hermione-Fan361 I agree. I may be a Harry Potter Fanatic, but I don't say books or characters are 'gay.' They are want and/or who they are. Just because a guy is girly does not mean he is gay. My 5 year old brother used to like to paint his nails. But did I call him gay? No. I think Harry Potter is better than Twilight because of the plot twists such as Fred dying, or Ummbridge coming to Hogwarts. I believe the story has more character, more feeling. Whenever I read these stories, I feel as if I am standing in the story, as if I am a part of it.

KateKicksAss I would just like to say that it’s ridiculous when people say this detracts from the Cullena being Vampires, or “real” Vampires. Stephenie Meyer did something creative, and CHANGED Vampires, just like many other authors have also done, ex. Cirque Du Freak series, House of Night Series, etc. I mean seriously, if she made them just like Dracula, people would probably be saying she ripped off Bram Stoker or something. So people should shut up about the “real” Vampire bit. Oh, and Vampires DON’T EXIST! So no one knows what a “real” Vampire would be like!
