Yeah it's compulsory, so it's not an option.
For GCSEs (OWLs) I'd take English Language, English Literature, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Welsh, another one, Spanish, History & Textiles...

7. Economics: 1 course (EC1.e)
8. History: 2 courses (HI1.e, HI2.e)
9. Psychology: 1 course (PS1.e)
10. World Religions: 1 course (UE4 or, alternatively, ET1)
11. Swedish: 4 courses (RUB1.i – RUB4.i) except for those exempted from studying Swedish
12. French: 3 courses (RAA1.i - RAA3.i) for students who will select French in IB1

”e” = taught in English, primarily reserved for preparatory year students.
“i” = primarily reserved for preparatory year students.

Additionally, you can choose electives, for example:

(The number in brackets indicates the maximum number of courses that you can choose in the subject concerned.)

Physical Education (2) [N.B.: Compulsory for those who want to participate in ”Old Dances” (Vanhojen tanssit) during IB1]
Art (2)
Music / choir (2)
Drama (1)
Joy of cooking (1)

You can also choose other courses in case they suit your timetable.

N.B. In all, your selection must amount to a minimum of 29 courses (including study counselling).

@accio: I was confused too, but it's fairly easy to use when you know how. Basically, the dashboard is where all the posts from people you follow show up. You can reblog these, or just 'like' them. Your blog, which can be renamed whenever you want (I'm currently called 'Riding the Klaine Train') is where everything you have blogged is displayed.

Are you thinking of getting one?

but that's just the thing, you know? I haven't done anything, apart from posted the family tree pic though it doesn't technically belong... I got reported for that once, a month ago, and they told me then -- now, no emails or anything whatsoever. I contacted them, though, so who knows?
