Really? I didn't know that SM liked Hunger Games. I heard that it was good.

I already saw two books with Smeyer's praising on them: Mortal Instruments and Hunger Games. I gave both a try, I really did; but Mortal Instruments is too depressing, and I forgot all about Hunger Games.

Yeah, we're reading Hunger Games at school, and I was so disgusted when I saw SM's praise on the book that I accidentally dropped it. ;)
I'll give it a chance though; it might turn out to be good. Where areas if Jo had written that...

Actually, two of my favourite series apart from HP (Mortal Instruments and the Hunger Games) are 'highly recommended' by SM... I just tend to ignore it, specially since her praise is often irrelevant to the books and just fail.

^Oh man GD.

If Meyer praised Percy Jackson, well, first off could I blamme her?, I'd probably crawl in a bundle for a few days, especially if she say they inspired her for her last few books.

So if she does, and you don't hear of me for a few days, I'm just somewhere starring at a lake with empty eyes.

I loved Hunger Games. And Percy Jackson. I hate SMeyer, but just because she can't write doesn't meant she doesn't appreciate GOOD books.

@Andie, Emmy, and Hecate: Yes, yes it was neccessary. But Mortal Instruments isn't as dirty a title as... Maximum Ride. ;D

THE HUNGER GAMES!!!! Apparently SM was "obsessed" with it . . . so am I! I bet SM is jealous of its awesomeness.

Yeah, that's the first book in the Mortal Instruments :) they're awesome.

Andie, I can't believe I only noticed it now but I was actually talking about the fact that they'll be too big for you next week :D

Same thing I said on the JK one.

I don't read based on famous author recommendations. If it sounds interesting, I'll read it. If it just happens to be praised by a certain author, (Cirque Du Freak, Mortal Instruments) well, good for it.
