Harry Potter Vraag

Petunia's Howler?

In Order of the Phoenix,on Pages 40-41, Aunt petunia recieves a Howler. The Howler says "Remember my last, Petunia."
Who is the Howler from? Did it eventually say in the book? I haven't read it in a couple of months but I'm re-reading it now. So did I just forget who it was from of did it not say?

Oh yea, and wtf does "Remember my last" mean? Thanks!

PrinceMJluv said:
I don't know if it is mentioned in that book, but it was from Dumbledore. door "Remember my last" he meant remember the promise she made when Harry was at her doorstep.

It was Dumbldore who sent it and he was talking about the content from a letter she had received from him once. it had something to do with the protection placed on Harry and it was warning her that she couldn't let Vernon throw him out

Dumbledore sent the Howler to petunia reminding her to her promise to keep Harry veilig upon receiving the letter of explanation along with baby Harry on that ominous morning.

This is zei in the Half Blood Prince when Dumbledore comes to fetch Harry from the Dursleys. petunia enters shocked at the sight of Dumbledore. It goes like this:
" 'Albus Dumbledore,' zei Dumbledore, when Uncle Vernon failed to effect an introduction. 'We corresponded, of course.' Harry thought this an odd way of reminding Aunt Petinua that he had once sent her an exploding letter, but Aunt petunia did not challenge the term." Which may even imply that they did exchange letters meer than twice. Who knows?

You're confusing with petunia alluding to an "awful boy", which was Severus actually. Nothing to do with the vraag asked.

Dumbledore sent that Howler to Petunia.

I suspect it may not be the first one she received. I think she needed a reminder of her promise every now and then. Dumbledore being the ever manipulative, I believe he must have practiced some kind of blackmailing on her.
