Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore:

- Before Albus became Headmaster, he was the Head of Gryffindor House, Transfiguration teacher and Deputy Headmaster.
- Dumbledore was made a Prefect in his 5th jaar and became Head Boy in his 7th.
- Albus was the one who invented the talking Patronus.
- It appears that Albus’ weapon of choice was fire. He used brand fighting of Voldemort in their only known duel, he burned Tom Riddles closet to prove that he was a wizard, and he used brand to keep Inferi away from himself and Harry in the Cave.

Minerva McGonagall:

- In her days at Hogwarts it is very likely that Minerva was a Prefect.
- Minerva’s Patronus takes the same form as her Animagus form; a cat.
- In the movie adaption of The Philosopher’s Stone there is a Quidditch plaque with the name M.G. McGonagall engraved on it volgende to James Potter’s plaque.
- After the end of the seconde Wizarding War Minerva became Headmistress of Hogwarts.
- Minerva has retired from her post as Headmistress door 2017, when Harry and Ginny’s son began school.
- When Tom Marvolo Riddle came to Hogwarts, Minerva was in her seconde year.

Severus Snape:

- J.K. Rowling has zei that Severus was loosely based on a teacher she had as a child.
- Before the release of The Deathly Hallows J.K. Rowling and Alan Rickman, the actor who plays Severus Snape, were the only ones to know that Snape loved Lily. Rowling told him this to give him an idea of the character.
