door now everyone probably knows I have a crazy thing for Bellatrix and think she's the most wonderful thing that has happened to the HP series. But there are some huge differences between book Bella and movie Bella. But gosh dammit, I love them both! Here's why.

Book Bellatrix

Book Bella for me is everything I look for in a villainess. She's ruthless, she's wild, and she's got no mercy and no qualms about her bad deeds.While movie Bellatrix does share this trait I feel as though she has her moments of guilt. I say this because I really don't know how else to interpret this;

Just that brief dismal expression before she starts smirking. This is something book Bellatrix doesn't have. She's completely ruthless. And she's completely rooted and devoted to her belief that muggles and muggleborns are beneath her. And that's what I like about book Bella; she's very nearly a pure villain with very nearly no redeeming qualities (I could state where I think she's not pure evil but I feel as though that's getting off topic and I'll likely make a separate artikel for it). It's rather hard to come door a character that is so completely twisted as Bella is. So I really latch onto her character.

For that reason I think book Bellatrix is a pretty frightening villain. Between the complete lack of mercy, the actual enjoyment and glee she gets from hurting people and her mock-baby voice I get chills when I read her parts. But in a good way. I like those chills, they are my favoriete part of the book. Frankly I have yet to come across another character quite like Bellatrix with her odd blend of adult-like sadism and her childish mannerisms.

And while a tragic backstory is a plus for me in terms of villains I think Bellatrix is a strong enough character without. In fact she's one of those villains that I think is just better without. Especially in the books.

Another area in which I see Bellatrix's book self as different from her movie counter part is the intensity of her love for Voldemort. Frankly I'm 90% the only reason for this is because Helena has much less time to portray it and film directors chose to up the action when in came to Bella--in the films I think she was far meer impulsive because Hollywood has this craving for the fast paced.
This is why I prefer book Bellatrix's relationship with Voldemort than movie Bella's. Her devotion seems much deeper, meer complex, and meer imploring in the books. And it gives her just one meer strange contradicting set of character traits; on one had she's this strong, tough, dare I say, independent woman who can completely dominate. But at the same time she's dependent, longing, and in need of praise and affection from Voldemort. These contradictions and layers also have me drawn to book Bellatrix.

Another thing I would like to refer back to is that impulsivity bit. I really love that book Bellatrix--as crazy as she is--is also rather calculating in the books. She is the one who actually took Snape's loyalty with a grain of salt when even Voldemort was fool. She's also the one who seemed to do most of the decision making in the Malfoy Manor scene. In other words, book Bellatrix thinks things through and doesn't always just dive right into it.
Honestly I can see book Bellatrix being the Hermione of her day; very well-versed in her spells and on top, boven of her classes. After all it is mentioned that she is of 'prodigious skill'.
She may be unhinged but she's a brilliant woman no less.

Movie Bellatrix

Where book Bella is a much darker character through and through, movie Bellatrix brings some refreshing gallows humor. That is the first thing I love about movie Bellatrix that she really doesn't share with her book self. Helena bought in some comedy and I think that it really worked with Bella's character. u have her skipping around and singing, u have her jumping on tables, u see her fidgeting with Snape's stuff and pouting when she's scolded, and u have wonderful quotes like, "you stupid elf u could have killed me." Movie Bellatrix is a riot and I love her for it.

Because of this, movie Bellatrix is (as mentioned) conveyed as meer impulsive with a hot sort of anger. She casts crucio on Harry in HBP and Snape has to remind her to chill. And then there's the way she flew off the handle during the Malfoy Manor scene. I enjoy wild and impulsive Bellatrix just as much as the meer in control (as far as in control goes for her) Bellatrix.

Bellatrix's impulsiveness goes hand in hand with Helena amping up the childlike part of Bella that Rowling briefly touches. I think Helena/movie Bella utilizes the baby voice and the childlike delight a lot meer than book Bella does. Again, while I love the darker Bellatrix, I adore the childlike portrayal of her too. I believe I can also say that this is one aspect of movie Bellatrix that I like meer than book Bella. She's just such a fun character.

The final thing about movie Bellatrix I'd like to discuss is something I mentioned above. And that is the guilt thing. However small that is I think it was a neat thing to throw in the movie. I mean he was her cousin so seeing that small twinge of guilt added something to her character for me. As I said, I think Bella's a strong character both with and without sympathetic traits.

So if I had to draw an globaal, algemene conclusion I'd say that I do prefer book Bellatrix, but only slightly because Helena does a wonderful job.
MTV has a new link with Tom Felton, the actor who plays Draco Malfoy in the Potter series, where discusses preparation for filming the Deathly Hallows Epilogue.

"For nearly two months, we've all been doing prosthetic tests and all sorts of preparation for the epilogue," Felton said. "I've been having some aging training. You've got to walk differently. There's a slump in your walk."

Felton notes they have someone who comes in to teach them how to be old and that they were told to imagine they had weights on their arms.

"We're probably at the most exciting bit," he said. "Certainly the part I've been most looking vooruit, voorwaarts to. It's going to be very exciting."
Is "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I" based on a book?

The movie will be based on the first half (or so) of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (2007), the last book of the Harry Potter series, written door British auteur J.K. Rowling. The other boeken in the series include: (1) Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (Sorcerer's Stone in the US) (1997), (2) Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (1998), (3) Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (1999), (4) Harry Potter and the Goblet of brand (2000), (5) Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2003), and (6) Harry Potter...

I love the fact Barty Junior was a Death Eater. That's what I fell in love with, in him; a judge's son being a Death Eater - that sweet, delicious irony!! And I'm also very fond of fictional, troubled father-son relationships.

Most people think Crouch Jr. is meer like Voldemort than anyone else of the Death Eaters because they both ended up killing their own father with glee, while they were bitter to them. So far I totally agree.

Before talking to Dumbledore under the influence of veritaserum, the book describes ”Moody” looking "completely insane" when he said, that both he and Voldemort...

AFTER eight years as the boy wizard, Daniel Radcliffe speaks tells Charles Miranda and Lachlan Cartwright why he still loves Harry Potter.

HIS last film may have entertained millions of fans worldwide and grossed meer than $1 billion, but don't for a moment mention the word blockbuster to Daniel Radcliffe.

"I hate that word so much,'' the 19-year-old actor says.

"Blockbusters - it's horrible because u think of this week's blockbusters, but it's just crap and it makes it sound like another action movie of just some other crowd pleaser.''

Blockbuster of not, in July the British actor will appear...

J.K. Rowling, auteur of the populair Harry Potter series, revealed her favoriete scene from the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows novel when she contributed to The Birthday Book, published to mark the 60th birthday of the Prince of Wales, Prince Charles.

An excerpt of the contribution is below:

I admit that, at first glance, the extract I've chosen for The Birthday Book might not seem particularly celebratory, gegeven that it has for its subject my hero walking to what he believes will be certain death. But when Harry takes his last, long walk into the hart-, hart of the Dark Forest, he is choosing...

Ginevra Molly Weasley:

- Ginny became a professional Quidditch player for the Holyhead Harpies for several years.
- Later she became the senior Quidditch correspondent for the Daily Prophet.
- J.K. Rowling has zei that Ginny beat Cho in Quidditch door catching the Snitch right in front of her to toon that Ginny was moe worthy of Harry than Cho.
- Many of Ginny's movements are described as being catlike, but her personality doesn't reflect her actions, since her Patronus is a horse and not a cat.

Fred Weasley:

- Fred was born on April 1st, April Fool's Day.
- After Fred's death, his brother George named...

I just love the name Ron :)
I just love the name Ron :)
So as I'm saying, Ron is one of those many characters that I preferred in the boeken , but the difference in the movie and the book Ron- its superior. In fact, I can say I am neutral about the movie Ron a bit while liking the boeken Ron.

So first of all, the films portrayed Ron's relationships very, very BAD. I think the director shipped Harry with Hermione, because their chemistry in the movie is such a blessing while Ron just appears from nowhere in the movies. Mostly like everyone, I started on the series door watching the films when I was a bit of younger, and I was soo confused when Ron...

Hello guys! I know I haven't been active lately, to make up to it, today I'm writing an artikel I thought about a lot before. So in my last articles, I actually zei I disliked Ginny. As this artikel has some parts related to her, and I finally got the courage to talk why I dislike her, because many fans are respective towards other's opinions, thank u so much for that!

Through my journey of being a casual Harry Potter fan, I couldn't unsee a lot of unfair treatments towards many of the characters, groups etc. I want to state them clear in this article, so I made a lijst for you.

1- Dolores...

I don't know if they did kiss of maybe I temporarily became blind when I was reading that part (._.) but this is how I imagine it to be uvu

Krum swept Hermione up into the air and grinned as she giggled. "I have never seen a girl that vos as vunderful at dancing as you," he whispered. She blushed bright roze and turned away, but quickly turned back as she noticed Ron's red face looking like it was about to explode. Krum saw this a well, and grabbed her wrist, dancing their way out of the room. Tittering, they made their way to an empty classroom.

"Hermy-own," Krum began. "I must confess, you...
