Harry Potter Article: A lijst of Harry Potter Theories

There have been a lot of Harry Potter theories, ranging from the ridiculous to the strange to the horrifying.

I have composed a lijst here.

Please commentaar any other theories u know of that I've missed. :)

Also: there are major spoilers in some of these. volgende to each one, if there is a spoiler, I will write the book that it spoils, so if u haven't read that one: skip that theory.

1. The Dursley Family is Justified (Spoils Deathly Hallows)

This is one of my favorites, door the way. Now, we all know that Horcruxes often corrupt people (the medallion, Riddle's diary) and Harry is, as it was revealed in the seventh book, a Horcruxes. So wouldn't it make sense that Harry has a 'bad energy'? This could explain why the Dursleys were so mean to him - yes, they hated Wizards, but some people needed meer of an explanation and deduced that Harry simply annoyed people.

2. Draco Malfoy is a Werewolf (Minor spoiler)
Lucius Malfoy pissed Voldemort off later in the series, and what else would He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named do then send Greyback after Lucius's son? Draco was bit after his fifth jaar ended.

3. Dumbledore is Ron
Okay, this one is plain crazy, but I love it. This theory states that Ron is a version of Dumbledore, gone back in time to help out Harry. Think about it: Ron and Dumbledore are described as having the same appearance... Yeah, no. This I still an insane theory.

4. Harry is Crazy
This one is really sad, and made me half-depressed for an hour. The theory goes like this: Harry went so crazy because of his uncle and aunt that he invented a whole world for himself, a world where magic existed... And this theory actually makes sense. Harry imagined a world where he was the Chosen One, where he defeated a powerful wizard, where his parents died for good, where he had vrienden and was famous. It's sad, but even J.K Rowling approves. She zei this was her favoriete fan theory.

glelsey Nice compilation! I think out of these I'd only heard the first one before, the others are all new to me. :) I especially like the third and fourth ones. I'm a sucker for wacky time travel stuff so the idea of Dumbledore sending his kid self back in time to assist and befriend Harry is just the perfect mix of insane and awesome. And the fourth one is such a mind-screw it's great.

Flickerflame The Ron one is hilarious... they don't really look the same. I think they're eyes are meant to be a different shade of blue, Ron's being darker, and Ron has bright ginger hair while Dumbledore's was auburn. And then there's the fact that they had completely different families and childhoods.... The Dursleys one is interesting. My theory there is that their abuse and neglect of Harry was actually trying to protect him in a way - they genuinely believed it could "squish" the magic out of him so there wouldn't be a risk of him dying like his parents did.

ImAnEasel ^ I prefer that Dursley theory. It's very heartwarming. Also, I think if Harry being a Horcrux had that much of a negative effect on people, then more people would have pushed him away.

Flickerflame Good point. But maybe magic has a bit of a shielding effect, so it has a stronger effect on a Muggle family?

Pinnipedi I heard a theory that J.K. Rowling is actually Rita Skeeter but that's just plain ridiculous.

Flickerflame ^I've heard that one too, or a similar one. That she's a witch who's been employed by the Ministry of Magic to publish Harry's story in the Muggle world disguised as a work of fiction.

elsafan1010 The last theory is insane. I would cry if it was real.. I mean Hermione, Ron, Voldemort, Hagrid, Draco, Lucius, Narcissa and many more are just a-dream? WILD..

LowriLorenza89 ^It's even more tragic than it being a dream, it's him hallucinating it all. I've read some books and seen some episodes of TV series which suggest something similar, but it's normally done as only suggesting this as an alternate interpretation of the story. It's also a bit of a funny theory though, because one of the first things you tend to be taught about creative writing is that you should avoid the "and it was all a dream after all" type ending.

Meyer Thinks Edward Cullen Could Kill Harry Potter in 0.01 Second. Agree?

Q.) If Harry and Edward had to duel against each other using their own abilities, who do u think would win?

Meyer:

A.) Oh gosh, don’t get mad at me but I don’t know what a wizard fight looks like in her (JKRowling's) head. I know what it looks like in the films so I have to go on what it looks like in the movies. But here is the thing, if it’s possible for a human to eend a wand being shot at them; a vampire is not going to have a problem. The fight would be over in .01 seconden because Edward would be across the room snapping his (Harry's) neck. He would be done. He wouldn’t even have time to say his spell word. I’m sorry but Edward would win that one.

What is Canon in the Half Blood Prince Film So Far...

In the book, it looks like they were closer to the cave.

If u are like the millions of other Harry Potter fans out there, u have been keeping up with every little bit of Half Blood Prince film information that has leaked out so far. After reviewing the five trailers (including the Japan one) and first look that have come out (not including ABC's five, one minuut long previews), fans now have a general idea of what will be in the film from the book, and what is changed/won't be in the film. There is a theory, particularly populair amongst Snape and Snily fans, that Snape was truly Harry's biological father instead of James Potter. There are two main variants of this theory. The first is that Lily had a long term affair with Snape, possibly from when they were all in their final jaar at Hogwarts together. Quite ironic isn't it? Father of the hero and arch nemisis of the hero have the same line. I don't think it's a coincidence that both James and Draco quote a similar line about a house they were prejudiced against. Both boys were brought up as the only sons in rich pureblood families. Both were undoubtedly spoilt. Both were definitely raised with a house prejudice. Both were definitely arrogant, attention-seeking...

Hi guys, I managed to see this Harry Potter spin-off just now at the cinema with 2 of my classmates. Here's my review about the film since that there is no fan club about this movie yet!

The Story

Unlike the typical Harry Potter that I had read and watch the series, the story is extraordinary unusual especially in the Harry Potter Universe. I was a bit disappointed because they should have shown a bit of Lord Voldemort's background, and I thought that Credence was an ancestor of Voldemort due to their mannerism, motives and magic.
