*DISCLAIMER* I did not come up with any of these, I found them all online and put them together...the linken which i used are cited in the description. So let's not waste any meer time and get started with the 50 Random Harry Potter Facts!!

1) Hermione's last name was going to be Puckle.
2) Hedwig was played door a male in the movies.
3) If a Muggle were to come across Hogwarts, all they would see was a sign that said, "Keep out, dangerous building."
4) Fred and George were born on April Fool's Day... That should explain their mischievous acts :)
5) Snape was partially based on a teacher JKR once had....

If not little known, at least little remembered. ;) I've collected here eleven (in my opinion) of the most interesting and useful ones. Plus my commentaren on some of them.

~ ~ ~ ~ ~

1. There is no such thing as a pureblood family. Every wizarding family has a muggle of a few among them. Some just choose to kruis them over in their family boom and pretend they don't exist and instead claim themselves as purebloods.
-link

^I can see Blacks and Malfoys doing that. But makes me wonder why were the Crouches noted as purebloods then, as evidently the father and son were not passionate about purity of blood....

My opinion of the top, boven inspirational quotes for the Harry Potter Series. commentaar on anything I missed!

-It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live

-There are all kinds of courage. It takes a great deal of courage to stand up to our enemies, but a great deal meer to stand up to our friends

-Do not pity the dead, Harry. Pity the living, and, above all, those who live without love.

-If u want to know what a man's like take a look at how he treats his inferiors not his equals

-It is out choices that toon who we truly are, far meer than our abilities.

-Happiness can be found even in the darkest...

HOGWARTS STAFF
Headmaster Albus Dumbledore: His first name is from the Latin word alba, "white." His last name, according to Rowling interviews, is Old English for "bumblebee." In colour symbolism, white often stands for purity, so the headmaster's name suggests honour and a hard-working nature ("busy as a bee").
Professor Binns: A bin is a large storage container. A dustbin is British English for a garbage can. This boring professor could be described as a ghostly storage for information that many Hogwarts students view as rubbish.
Headmaster Armando Dippet: Armando is from the name Armand,...

Ginny Weasley played quidditch for the Holyhead Harpies. After deciding to raise a family, she retired and became Senior Quidditch correspondent at the Daily Prophet.

Hermione Granger married to Ron Weasely and had two children, Rose and Hugo. Hermione went back to Hogwarts and sat her NEWTS before working for Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures and helping house elves. She then moved to the Department...

1. Ask him why he 'doesn't have such a cool scar?'
2. Laugh at him.
3. Wake him up door singing strand Boys songs in his ear. 'Round, round, get around, I get around...'
4. Knit him things. Really hideous things.
5. Give him kangaroo-ears for a month.
6. Smile during Death-Eater meetings and say u taught him everything he knows.
7. Chew bubblegum all the time. Should he address you, your only response will be a series of huge bubbles in quick succession, the last of which will burst everywhere and make a mess.
8. Dance the Funky Chicken.
9. Ask him when was the last time he took a bath.

I decided to write this artikel because I have seen many commentaren lately that kind of bother me.

There are several picks in which this has come up, but the last one I have seen, and the reason why I am writing this is the question: ¿Have u completely changed your attitude towards a character after reading/watching their past stories? (or something along those lines)

link

It is a really interesting question, and what really caught my attention were the answers, the comments, especially since it wasn't the first time that I am reading commentaren like those.

The thing is that in that pick, James...

01. Before Tonks died, she saw Remus fall down only a couple feet away.
She ran over to him, and as Bellatrix fired the Killing Curse, she whispered in his ear, “Wotcher, Remus”, with her hand falling into his after she’d been hit.

02. Scorpius Malfoy and Rose Weasley got together in their 5th year.

03. Dean's son married Seamus' daughter.
Dean and Seamus were so proud and saw it as a way to be brothers.

04. Severus wrote many letters to Lily saying how he loved her.
He never sent one. If she was happy, then he could get along.

05. Ron was never a romantic. But he tried everyday to toon Hermione...

I started reading the hp series when I was 12.
My grandma bought me the 1st book for Christmas.
As soon as I finished it I instantly loved it and re-read it about 4 times! I became obsessed with collecting the entire series and eventually obtained all seven volumes. Why I love Harry Potter so much is J.K Rowling really transports u to a different world with her style of writing. There is so much detail and realism in her writing that whenever I read the boeken I am compeletly engrossed in the Harry Potter universe. Another thing I really love about the boeken is the characters are really believable...

Ever wondered what the dedications at the beginning of each Harry Potter book mean? u can find all the antwoorden on this page!

Harry Potter and the Philosopher/Sorcerer's Stone
For Jessica, who loves stories, for Anne, who loved them too, and for Di, who heard this one first.
Explanation: Jessica is JK Rowling’s twelve-year-old daughter. Anne was Jo’s mother, who, unfortunately, died of Multiple Sclerosis on December 30th, 1990. Dianne, of “Di," is Jo’s younger sister who she read Philosopher/Sorcerer’s Stone before Jo sent it off to be reviewed.

Okay, I seriously wasn't going to go here but I feel the need to express my opinion a little further. So I have heard some of u say " The Harry Potter series will be re-made to keep up with time, of keep the legend alive". That is fine that u have that opinion, but I only have one of two questions. u don't think the movie series will live on as a classic. Its the top, boven earning movie series in the world, not counting inflation. It has the best British cast in the world. Besides I think Hollywood avoids remakes if they can unless they are trying to make quick money. And if they do remake...

Dolores Umbridge: the horrible woman who is the most cruel and hated character in the Harry Potter series. Here are 100 reasons as to why I hate Dolores Umbridge.

1) She believes in extremely harsh, severe, and cruel punishments.

2)Too much pink.

3) She's just doesn't make sense. Like, how she tells everyone to raise their hands if they want to speak, but then she ignores them.

4) She's racist. Well, she's technically "half-breed-ist", because she thinks wizards and witches are better than centaurs, werewolves, goblins, elves, etc. I hate that, because without the help of a lot of half breeds,...

Now that Harry Potter is over, I’ve made a little lijst of the films from my least-favorite to most favoriete (as of now…it tends to change), listing some of the pros and cons of each. I wrote this just for fun, and I’d like to hear your thoughts as well. This is just my humble opinion, and I’m sure it will be different from yours, but no rude commentaren please :)

#8. HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE (2004) Mike Newell

At my uni we've been studying the way gender and sexism shapes the education curriculum.

This was an artikel we were actually gegeven to read and debate about in a seminar:

"Harry Potter's girl trouble
The world of everyone's favoriete kid wizard is a place where boys come first.

Four factors made me go out and buy the Harry Potter books: Their impressive lead on the bestseller lists, parents' raves about Harry Potter's magical ability to turn kids into passionate readers, my daughters' clamoring and the mile-long waiting lists at the public library. Once I opened "The Sorcerer's...

Well, I know some people say that it's bad because it has withcraft, but I think te movie is very entertaining and kind of funny. My favoriete character is Harry Potter, ofcourse. I like him because she's a little diferent from the others in a way. To me, he also seems like the "chosen one" if u know what I mean. Ron is really cool too. He's the funny guy in the group. Hermione,at first got on my nerves because she she seemed like a know it all. During the third movie, I started to like her more.
That pretty much covers the three main characters so I'll go on to how I feel about the storylines...

So I've been thinking about this a lot lately...I discussed this with a friend a few months ago. We were talking about how many Christian groups (as u well know) have condemned HP as anti-Christian. In fact, I believe that the Harry Potter story is actually a symbolization of the Christian religion.
Note: This is entirely my opinion and is not meant as "Christian propaganda" of to offend anyone in the slightest. It is merely my opinion! :)

Harry Potter is Jesus. Whaaaaat?!
1) Both HP and Jesus were born into humble beginnings.
Jesus was born in Bethlehem, a tiny town literally in the middle...
