If Hermione wanted Harry for herself, was it logical for her to have given Ginny advice on what to do so Harry would notice her?

But, hypothetically speaking, if she had, then making Ginny more visible would not have been the way to get Harry.
I can see that few people are bothering to read my opening post prior to voting.
EDIT: 'Ear, 'ear, delamico.
I repeat: you said "If Hermione wanted Harry for herself, was it logical?" and I answered "She never wanted him, so it was perfectly logical." what's so difficult about that?
you just gotta love how Pensieve_Seeker stopped replying, huh?
Basically, what's opinion-based is the "was it logical" part, and I replied with an answer and why. Then P_S found it necessary to continue.
"If Hermione wanted Harry for herself, was it logical for her to have given Ginny advice on what to do so Harry would notice her?"
Although I understood it to be theoretical, I think by the way it reads it could be misinterpreted as though you are stating a fact that Hermione wanted Harry for herself.
Another thing is the question itself. I think a more appropriate question would be something like,
"If Hermione had been interested in Harry, do you think she would have given Ginny advice on how to get Harry to notice her?"
