Sylar blinked. "You do?"
Dorian nodded. "People like to think that they can change, I guess. But they don't. They never really do." she paused, and continued, when Sylar looked as if he wanted to interject. "Yes, people never change, Gabriel. But, they can always... change back."
"Change...back?" repeated Sylar slowly. "What do u mean?"
"They can change back into the person that they were, before."
"Before what?"
"Before the doubt. The pain. Before the loss... and the corruption. It just takes one simple thing."
"And whats that?" asked Sylar, his eyebrows furrowed for a moment.
"You have to want to change back." she paused, and took a step towards him. "So... do you? Do u want to be Gabriel Gray again?"
After several moments, Sylar nodded slowly. "I...do."
Dorian smiled. "Think of something." she said. "The one thing... that u wanted, meer than anything else, when u were Gabriel. Can u think of that?"
Sylar's mind began to reel. What was the one thing he had wanted meer than anything else? To be special, but no... there was something else, that he wanted even more. He looked up into Dorian's light gray eyes, and his mind suddenly flooded with the memories of her. The way his hart-, hart jumped on her birthday, when she kissed him on the cheek... holding her hand in the hospital bed... and then... the way he had felt when she disappeared....
"Do u have something?" asked Dorian after several moments more.
Sylar nodded. "I do."
Dorian's eyes were bright as they looked into Sylar's. "Then take it."
"Take it?"
"It's that simple. If u gain something that u wanted then, it will make it easier, to become Gabriel again." she smiled slightly. "Take it."
Sylar stepped forward, and pulled Dorian closer to himself.
"What are u doing?" she asked.
"Taking it." he said, before pulling her closer, and pressing his lips to hers.
--2 days later--
"That's...incredible." zei Sylar at last as he looked into Dorian's eyes. "You can really do all that?"
"Pretty much." zei Dorian, shifting her arm slightly. They were both laying on the bed in what was 'Nathan's' apartment. Dorian had just finished telling Sylar the extent of her ability, which stretched pretty far.
"You learned all that control in India? From Chandra?"
Dorian nodded. "He helped me a lot. meer than I realized at first."
Sylar was battling now with the hunger that seemed to roar in his chest, but now, something was meer powerful than it. For the first time since he had tried to hang himself, a wave of guilt washed over him. He had killed the closest thing that Dorian had had to a father since she had caused her own father's death... Why had she brought him back..? "Did u know?" he asked her suddenly.
"Know what?" asked Dorian curiously.
"What I've done...who I've killed.." he zei slowly.
"Was a little obvious. "Sylar". The name of that watch u were always tinkering with, whenever i came around." she stroked a loose lock of hair off of his forehead. "I knew. And I.. blamed myself in way."
"Why?"
"As soon as I came back from India, I hid myself away. Literally went underground, I severed all my personal contacts... I was afraid something would happen because they were connected to me... I kept thinking if I had actually come back, I could have changed something."
Sylar's brow furrowed for a moment as he tenderly tucked a curl behind her ear. "Don't blame yourself." he said. "It wasn't your fault, in any way."
Dorian felt herself smile, and was about to respond, when there was a knock on the door.
"Nathan, u in there? It's Peter." came Peter Petrelli's voice from behind the door.
When Dorian looked back at Sylar, he had shifted into Nathan, clothes and all. "That was fast." she said.
"Reflex." zei Sylar. He thought for a moment, and smiled. "I have an idea. Hand me that robe."
Slightly confused, Dorian handed Sylar the robe. "What's your idea?" she asked him.
Sylar smiled as he removed his tie and jacket, before tossing Dorian his shirt. "Put that on." he zei with a smile.
After catching it, Dorian smiled as well, when she realized what his 'idea' was.
Sylar put the gewaad, kleed on and removed the rest of his clothes before leaving the 'bedroom' and going to answer the door. He opened it. "What is it Pete, I'm sort of in the middle of something."
Peter blinked slightly at the sight of his brother answering the door in a robe. "I can see that." he said, but he smiled after a moment. "Noah Bennett is downstairs, he wants to talk."
"Right..." zei Sylar slowly.
A moment later, Dorian's voice was heard. "Who is it, Baby?" she asked. She came into view wearing nothing but Sylar's light blue shirt. "Oh..hello." sh zei with a smile.
Sylar smiled at her as well, and cleared his throat. "Right, well, introductions then. Dorian, this is my brother Peter, Peter, this is my--"
"Girlfriend." zei Dorian smiling.
"Right, girlfriend, Dorian Gray."
"Nice to meet you." zei Peter as he shook Dorian's hand.
"Likewise." zei Dorian. She kissed Sylar on the cheek before turning around, and returning to the bedroom.
"She seems nice." zei Peter when she was out of earshot.
"She is." zei Sylar. "Listen, Pete, tell Noah I'll be down in about ten minutes."
"Ten minutes? Why what are u going to do?"
Sylar smirked. "I'm gonna go get my overhemd, shirt back." he zei smiling, before he closed the door.
