Sylar smiled as he led Dorian off of the elevator, the doors slowly closing behind them in silence. His eyes scanned the lobby for a moment, until they fell upon Peter and Noah, but someone else was with them. After a pause, he and Dorian walked up to the small group of people.
Noah glanced at his watch. "I suppose I can excuse u for being a minuut late." he zei with a small smile. After a moment, he shook Sylar's hand. "All is well, I hope?" he asked. He had not yet noticed Dorian standing at Sylar's side.
"All is very well." zei Sylar with a smile. "All well with the company, I hope too. No hiccups of anything."
"There was one hiccup," zei Noah, "about a maand ago, but it was nothing to worry about."
"So it's been taken care of?"
"Rather it took care of itself." responded Noah. At last, his eyes fell on Dorian, and he blinked. "And who is this?" he asked, trying to mask the fear, and the smallest hint of anger in his voice.
"Noah, this is Dorian Gray, Dorian, this is Noah Bennett. He's been heading the Company." zei Sylar.
Dorian held her hand out and shook Noah's. "A pleasure to meet you, Mr. Bennett." she said, her eyes slightly bright.
Noah nodded. "Ah, Nathan, I hope it's no trouble that I brought Matt Parkman along, is it?" he asked, taking his eyes off Dorian, and looking at Sylar again.
"Not at all, Noah. And I hope it's alright if Dorian joins us?"
Noah paused for the briefest of seconds. "Not at all." he said.
Sylar smiled as he led Dorian towards the doors, but Noah and Matt stayed back.
"While we're eating," zei Noah softly, leaning in to Matt, "get whatever u can off of her. If she's who I think she is... we're all in big trouble."
Matt nodded, as the two of them quickened their pace to kom bij Sylar and Dorian outside.
"Separate cabs alright, Noah?" asked Sylar, turning to look at Noah and Matt as they came outside.
"Separate cabs is just fine, Nathan." zei Noah. "We'll meet u there." he added as a cab pulled up,and Dorian and Sylar stepped into it.
"I don't understand one thing, Noah.." Matt zei slowly as Noah threw his arm up to hail a cab. "Who do u think Dorian Gray is?"
"A very dangerous individual." responded Noah. "The company has been looking for her for some time."
"She doesn't look dangerous.." Matt zei slowly.
"Neither did Gabriel Gray." zei Noah as a cab stopped at the curb in front of them. "Looks can be ver deceiving, Matt. Never trust the exterior."
Matt nodded as he got into the cab after Noah. "So... just how dangerous is she?" he asked after a few moments.
Noah made sure that they would not be overheard door the cab driver after giving the address. "Remember when the Marxon office building collapsed a few years back?"
"Who could forget?" asked Matt. "Instant total structural collapse. Everyone inside was killed.." he paused. "Why?"
Noah's eyes simply met Matt's as he raised his eyebrows slightly, telling him in silence exactly 'why'.
"Wait wait," zei Matt with a single humorless laugh. "Are you," he paused again. "Are u telling me that that was her?"
"That's exactly what I'm telling you." zei Noah, his eyes bright behind his horn-rimmed glasses.
"He recognized you, u know." zei Sylar, looking at Dorian at his side as the cab drove to the restaurant.
"I know." zei Dorian as she tucked a dark curl behind her ear, her light eyes going back to Sylar's. "I saw the fear flicker in his eyes, however brief it may have been." She smiled and looked out the window again. "So, what's this little 'meeting' about?" she asked him.
"Just about the company." zei Sylar as he straightened his tie slightly. "I'll try and keep the conversation off of you." he added with a small smirk, his eyes bright.
"Thank u for that, Gabriel." she zei to him.
"Be warned," Sylar zei after a moment, "Parkman is a mind-reader. I'm sure that Noah may have doubts, so he'll-"
"I know." she said, her light eyes bright. "He won't be able to get anything from me. Don't worry." she smiled.
"How did u know..?" he asked slowly.
"The company isn't the only one who knows about all these people. All of us. I'm an accomplished hacker, Gabriel. If I want it, I can get it."
"Impressive."
"Thank you." Dorian smiled as her cell phone chimed slightly. She opened it, to find she had received a text. She opened the text and her eyes quickly scanned it.
