Do Hikaru and Kaoru ever really fall in love?

In an answer to a different vraag I was told they do it for female attention, but from the looks of a video a watched they're affection seemed 100% genuine. Do they ever truely fall in love?

This is why I don't watch Ouran Highschool anymore. It turned into a total Shojo fest. And Haruhi was a huge Mary Sue in this sense.

I think they really need to be with each other but not necessarily in that sense and if u want one of them u will end up with both of them

i think they should be together. its only seems right since they "play" with each other when they're at home. if they where doing it for female attention they wouldnt be waking up in the same bed at their house ^.^ besides sometimes randomly they break out into love scenes and sometimes no one is even around
