I've got one. I had strep that no one was able to diagnose for five years because instead of in my throat it was in my nose and ears. I got it in the hospital when I had my tonsils out at the age of three, because they were causing sleep apnea (of course if it were House the sleep apnea would have ended up being a symptom that was suppressed by the anesthesia or something). Anyway, they finally found it when I was eight, but it was horrible. It was like have and constant cold and double ear infection. I went to so many ears nose and throat doctors before they found it. I'm surprised I never got scarlet fever (that's the one that comes from untreated strep right? Guess where I learned that).
