Why is ther such a big gap between season 7 episode 8 and season 7 episode 9? Please tell me because I want to know the reason why I have to be bored out of my mind for so long.

As far as I know, it's because of Christmas holidays. Like a lot of New Year/Christmas stuff will be showed on TV...

Because "house" is a veteran TV toon having been on the air for almost 7 years now, the "Fox" network likes to take this time to toon sports events, toon new shows, TV/holiday specials, etc. "House" is in a very secure position ratings-wise, and vos, fox also wants to extend the season. I know, it sucks for us die-hard viewers.
