Nurses entered and left the woman’s room. The unidentified woman to whom most doctors and nurses referred to as patient 0053874 on the 3rd floor. Her breathing and hart-, hart rate seem to be fine, perfect in fact. Surprising to most of the doctors, they almost didn’t believe that she was anywhere near the crash. But she was there. She still had bruises and ruptured organs, though not anymore since they already preformed surgery.
Lying in the room with little to almost no light she began to wake. Even with little light it still hurt her eyes, causing her to squint and blink constantly. No one had noticed though, no one had noticed that she was coming to.
What happened? She thought to herself. Where in the world am I? Why is my head pounding?
She groaned loudly as she questioned herself. Closing her eyes she decided to rest the little energy she had. After a moment of peace she quickly opened her eyes remembering exactly what happened on the day.

Laying there with a smile on her face she slept. After 3 weeks of worrying she finally got relaxed enough to sleep. She had finally found peace. Smiling, she turned in her hotel bed as a phone call began to wake her from her peaceful dream. When she completely woke up she frowned and answered the call.
“Hello,” she groaned into the phone, “What?!” She zei sitting straight up in bed.
She looked at the time and it flashed 7:30 am. Quickly, she hung up the phone and jumped out of bed. Her alarm hadn’t gone off at 6 am like she planned. She hurried herself to get ready skipping her early morning douche that usually woke her. Thank god she had showered before going to bed though of she would have been in a much bigger panic.
Throwing on the clothes she had prepared the other night she began packing all her work and personal items. Watching the time constantly she realized that is was now 8 and she was going to miss her 9 o’clock flight if she didn’t hurry. Snatching her brush off the table, she began brushing her hair franticly and decided to skip putting on her make up until she actually had the time to.
Grabbing her luggage and portemonnee she ran out of her room and downstairs to check out when her cell phone rang. Groaning, she answered it with panic still in her voice.
“Hello?” She answered signing some papers and dashing out of the hotel.
“Hey are u okay?” Wilson asked hearing the tension in her voice as he stood at the airport waiting for his plane to start boarding.
“Wilson thank god it’s you,” she zei waving her hands for a taxi to stop her way, “Taxi!” She called out.
“Um are u okay?” Wilson asked her concerned.
“No I am just now leaving the hotel.” Cuddy stated waving her arms frantically until finally a cab stopped in front of her. She quickly put her belongings into the romp, kofferbak and got in.
“What?! You’re just now leaving? You’re going to miss you’re flight.” Wilson zei caringly.
“I am so sorry,” she apologized sincerely, “My alarm didn’t go off for some reason but I think I can make the flight. Just wait a little longer please I’ll be there on time.”
“Well u better pray to god because the airport won’t always wait for you, u know.” Wilson told her grabbing his luggage as they announced that his plane was now boarding.
“New York Airport please,” Cuddy told the cab driver covering her speaker.
“No problem.” The cab driver zei nicely beginning their adventure to the airport.
“Hey I have to go now. My plane is boarding,” Wilson told her giving his ticket to one of the stewardess, “I’ll see u at the airport okay?”
“Alright, I’ll see u then. I’m sorry again,” Cuddy apologized once more.
“Alright, it’s no problem I can wait. I have to go now. See you.” Wilson told her once more.
“Alright, thank you. See u soon. Bye.” Cuddy hung up. Sighing she slouched into her zitplaats, stoel and groaned.
“The husband?” The female cab driver asked Cuddy randomly.
Cuddy caught off guard, sat up and began laughing hysterically at the assumption.
“No, oh no! He’s just a colleague,” Cuddy stated, “And a really good friend.”
“I see. u must be in such a rush. Going home pagina after a meeting?” The woman asked.
Cuddy was a little astonished at how well the woman could read her. Was she really that predictable? Could she really be read like a book?
“Yes, how did u know?” Cuddy asked curiously.
“I get a lot of you. Alarm didn’t go off, wake up call failed, up late doing paper work, honey I’ve heard every excuse in the book.” The woman zei with a classic New York personality.
Cuddy giggled a bit thinking that she is like a stereotype business woman. Feeling a bit better and less stressed she held her hand out to the front of the cab.
“Cuddy, Lisa Cuddy.” She introduced herself.
“Michele, Michele Linkins, nice to meet you.” The woman zei shaking her hand quickly but instantly putting both hands on the steering wheel once more.
…The bandits continue to head north as it seems they are going to the border of Canada; we want to warn everyone…
Cuddy groaned when the news started.
“You sick of it too?” Michele asked.
“Yes, I have been getting calls and emails and memos and everything about those guys. I am just getting tired of hearing about them everyone.” Cuddy chuckled.
“Amen sister, amen.” Michele zei quickly turning the news off and focusing on the road and their conversation.
Cuddy took this time and took out her make up. Opening her compact mirror she began apply her beloved make up.
“Are u going on a datum when u get home pagina of trying to make that “colleague” you’re husband?” Michele asked humorously watching through her rear view mirror.
Cuddy couldn’t help but begin laughing again.
“No I guess I’m just used to putting on make up and everyone seeing me with make up. Why is it too much?” Cuddy asked for the opinion of the recently befriended cab driver.
“No not at all, it’s barely noticeable but do u wear that to work?” Michele questioned her wardrobe.
Cuddy laughed and she felt like she was back at home pagina with her immature colleague.
“Yes, why? What’s wrong with my wardrobe?” Cuddy asked with a smile and a hint of humor in her voice.
“Well doll face, if u ask me I think the V neck is a little low if u know what I’m talkin’ about.” Michele stated.
Lisa once meer laughed and was happy to be engaged in this conversation instead of being quiet and waiting the whole way to the airport.
“Well no one’s really zei anything about my clothes at work before.” Cuddy began buttoning her overhemd, shirt up higher.
“Are u the boss?” Michele adjusted her mirror as they waited in the traffic.
“Yes, yes I am.” Cuddy replied wondering what the relevance of her being the boss had to do with what they were talking about.
“Well that’s why. They don’t want to get fired for staring, let alone commenting. Either that. of most of them enjoy the toon and no body wants to be known as the one who ruined it.”
Laughing at the comment, Cuddy almost messed up the application of her mascara.
“Well I think it’s the first one for most of them.” Cuddy stated.
“What do u mean most of them? Is there one bad appel, apple of something?” Michele asked curiously.
Cuddy enjoyed the conversation and began sharing stories about her work life with Michele and in return Michele did the same. Talking about passengers and how crazy some of them are.
After a long wait Cuddy looked at the time and realized that she was probably going to miss her flight and she’d just have to try to catch the volgende one. With a big sigh she put her head back exhausted. Closing her eyes she began to relax.
“Hey what’s that?” Michele asked interrupting Cuddy’s peace.
Looking up Cuddy squinted trying to see what it was but shrugged.
“I have no idea.” She zei shaking her head.
After they got closer her eyes got wide as she realized what it was.
“Michele! Look out! It’s a pile up!” Cuddy warned her, but it was too late.
BANG!
Cuddy had blacked out for a while. She didn’t know how long but she remembered waking up and sitting up. Michele was still out cold and trapped in the front. Groaning she felt around a little. Her purse… was gone, her belongs were gone. Searching her pockets she found her cell. Thank god they didn’t find that.
Leaning into the front as far as she could she checked to make sure Michele still had a pulse. She groaned as her head started pounding. She had a bruise on her forehead and a few cuts and scratches but nothing too bad. She saw that Michele was okay and just unconscious, so she tried to get out. Kicking open the door she stumbled out clumsily and used her right hand to shield her eyes from the bright sun.
She tried to walk but soon realized that her headache was causing her to verplaats to and fro. Picking up her phone she began to dial 911 while trying to do her job and make sure everyone was okay.
“Hello 911 what’s your emergency?” The operator asked.
Cuddy’s throat was dry preventing her from speaking quickly. The air was full of smoke and gas causing her to start coughing.
“Are u alright?” The operator questioned.
With a scratchy rough voice Cuddy tried her best to reply.
“I’m fine I was just in an accident on…” She looked for a straat sign, “20th avenue straat and there is a huge pile up.”
“Alright we already have people coming there but the traffic has gotten worse so just stay calm. What’s your name?” The operator asked
Cuddy got up seeing someone else hurt and tried to go to them. Getting her throat ready to answer Cuddy tried to say her name but suddenly heard a honking of a car. She turned to see a car was coming right at her and before she could think of react she felt the force of the impact.
--
Cuddy remembered blacking out but that was all. She couldn’t really remember anything after that. She couldn’t really remember anything before that dag either. Groaning her closed her eyes and lay back down. Just remembering what happened took so much energy from her, so she tried to rest.
Suddenly she started to have a coughing spasm. Taking deep breaths she tried to calm herself down. She drank a big glass of water and rested. Her coughing had stopped for now and she was going to try to get as much rest as she possibly could.

House and Wilson were just leaving the hospital when worries began to enter their heads. What did Charles mean he couldn’t guarantee that she was there? Could that mean that some people weren’t found yet? Deciding to go to the hospital and make sure that Cuddy was okay, House hopped into a taxi and motioned for Wilson to hurry up. He was determined to find her no matter what, but he was a little afraid to find out what he might find.
