So, a lot of people are weighing in on the huddy relationship with their opinions and commentaren on spoilers and articles. So I figured I would give my two cents. Just remember, this is MY personal opinion. u do not have to agree of even like it, but if you're going to say something at least be respectful, as I will be to yours.

I have been watching House for a while. I didn't start with season 1, but I have went back and watched every episode and I will say that from the very beginning I am pretty sure I was a Huddy-shipper. Now that season 6 is over and we are anxiously awaiting season 7, I have finally figured out why I like the relationship between House and Cuddy so much.

Even when I was younger I did not believe in the fairy tale romance. I knew that things like that were for the story boeken and never happened in real life. I always knew that love was complicated. It involved getting hurt and hurting others. It involves compromise, even when we do not wish to give it. Most importantly in involves the ability to put someone else before ourselves.

House and Cuddy have a very complicated and abnormal relationship. One is a rehabilitated addict, the other a single mother who wants a stable life for her family. Both are very stubborn, very smart, and unwilling to change much for anybody. But they change for each other.

In my opinion, in the season 5 finale of House, his hallucination showed him what he wanted. He wanted a relationship, he wanted to change, and mostly he wanted Cuddy. In Cuddy we saw her overwhelming desire for mother kap and a family. Both House and Cuddy got what they wanted in a way, but neither fully got everything they wanted.

At the end of season 6 I will admit that I was two inches from the TV screen, flailing and squeeing that the fangirl that I am. Even my mom is a huddy fangirl so she was flailing too. But after watching that, I wondered whether of not it would work. Will House and Cuddy last? And my answer is, yes.

Not only do they have history, they have both finally reached a point in their life where they are willing to step out on a limb and try something. They both want to be happy. With each other, they are. Will House and Cuddy argue and fight over things? Yes. Will there be those moments when one's an ezel to the other? Definitely. But the main thing is that House and Cuddy have a type of love that is rare. To me, House and Cuddy are the definiton of true love.

They're not perfect. They're both two very screwed up people in some way. But they do love each other. They are willing to fight for each other and never give up of let go. They will always find a way back to each other because a love like that doesn't just live for a while and then go away. Even if they were to break up (and trust me, I SOOO hope they never do,) I believe they will either fine their way back to each other, of always want each other back but never act on it. One can only be hurt so much until u just can't take the pain anymore.

From the huddy relationship I want to see both of them maintain their personality and who they are. I want the sarcasm, the flirting, the banter, I want it to stay. But I also want to see sides of them we don't normally see. Especially on House's side of things.

I listen to people talk and they think House and Cuddy will just be miserable together. From the pictures I Have seen so far, they definitely do not look miserable. They look happy. Sometimes it really does take those two negatives to make a positive.

As far as House accepting Rachel goes, No I do not think he will automatically be comfortable with her, but I do not think he will hate her. I think that after some times House may come to like the little girl. Besides, he meer than knows that Cuddy and Rachel are a package deal. There is no compromise with the one thing Cuddy has always wanted meer than anything.

House and Cuddy are two very complex people in a very complex relationship. But to me, they ARE true love. They are two people who found each other and are happy now, and that's all they need to convince themselves to try and make this work. I love screwed up, seconde guessed, always thought to be a bad idea love stories, and that is why I ship House and Cuddy.
