Thoughts and speculations about 'Bombshells'

Just dropping door to share my opinion, which I haven't done in a loooooooooooooooooooooooong time.

There are two possibilities when it comes to this season ending.

If it is the last season of House, I can see it ending with Cuddy dying and House having to raise Rachel on his own.
The seconde option, season 7 not being the final season, would be something happening in the procedure and/or House lying to Cuddy big time, screwing their relationship completely.

The problem is,
I could also see Cuddy dying and toon not ending.
House has been happy for far too long when it comes to this show.
And the wedding, if it's true, makes no Houseian sense to me in any other way than Cuddy dying and House having no other option on how to adopt Rachel.

But, then comes the part that gets me thinking the most.
What is the purpose of this show?
What kind of message does it give?

If we're all supposed to drown in despair and believe that life is so cruel and hopeless, then, I didn't see it.
For me, it's always been about a royally screwed up man getting better, and... making it in the horrible world.
Going against his principles, going against who he really is and... just... finally finding that little happy place.

For me, it's all about tonen us, that, even the most screwed up people, stubborn people, can make it.

And because of this, I don't see them killing Cuddy off.
It would totally miss the whole point of the show...
But then again, the toon is called House, not Cuddy.
Maybe, maybe she is just not someone who is, in PPTB's book, destined to make it.

What a pity would that be?
What a pity.

anonymously I'm just nodding my head but I have nothing to add really. I'm on a high from all the Huddy, LE and other House related goodness that happened today

HuddyJoy0524 I actually think that Cuddy will be fine and that they will remain together (at least for now). I think the wedding is either gonna be one of the dream sequences from this week or maybe someone else? I personally think also that the season is gonna end on a Huddy crisis and a "will they still be together next season?" kinda thing. As for the shows duration...i believe that they are going to keep it going as long as they feel it will make money and people are watching. Whether thats season 8 or season 212 we won't know until we get there :)

anonymously season 212! loll I wouldn't mind having them on my screen that long, not sure how many story lines are left though

salemslot I don't think Cuddy or Wilson for that matter will be harmed because simply they are House's 'Sine Qua Non', Without Which Not. A lot of people since the ending of s2 named House, Wilson and Cuddy the "Holy Trinity" because they realise they are the essence of the show, the show that is called House MD therefore Wilson and Cuddy are the essence that complete House. Is it a coincidence that when House had a heart-attack in 'House's Head' that they saved him? Is it another coincidence that House was lost in both s5 and s6 because he was losing one part of the duo of his friends? Wilson is House's conscience and Cuddy his spine, his proverbial bumper. If House loses anyone of these two mortally, he will go into another downward spiral which I don't think is the intention of TPTB. How the season will end is the least of my concerns. Whether House breaks up with Cuddy or not, she will always be a part of who he is, even if they are not a couple. She is under his skin as he is under hers. There are so many themes in this season that have swarmed the screen that I don't think will be left untouched. Honesty, karma, self-awareness. No matter what happens, it will be bitter-sweet as like every season finale because the greatest things are the things that make us sad and happy at the same time. After all, you can't always get what you want. But if you try sometimes you just might get what you need.

A lot of people have been complaining about both the newly discovered Luddy relationship and the supposed “change” in Cuddy that was unleashed in the last episode entitled, “Known Unknowns”. I disagree with those people’s opinion and think that the Lucas and Cuddy relationship is going to be an interesting arc that both promotes Huddy and unravels meer about the character of Cuddy and what she truly values in life. House was slowly limping through the lobby when a faint glimpse of light, coming from Cuddy’s office, caught his always alert eyes. He looked down at his wristwatch and noticed, with unhidden curiosity, that it was way past her proverbial ‘bed time’. Rubbing his forehead in puzzlement he quickly decided to get to the bottom of this mystery and, in one pivotal move, changed his direction. seconden later he barged into her office, visibly startling her. House and Cuddy were sitting underneath a large tree. Branches were spread out, boughs reaching every which way, bringing them comforting shade as they sat back watching over the young students. Cuddy was lying against House with his arms wrapped around her. His grip and stare was intimidating, for it was a warning look, a look of great protectiveness. She was wearing House's leather jacket, which suited her well. The familiar summer breeze blew as it shook the trees leaves. They were both feeling serene. It was peaceful here, bringing back plenty of memories.

Cuddy thought long and hard about House that evening. She thought of how she had rejected him even though, deep in her heart, she wanted and needed him. Lisa Cuddy wasn't one to make house calls to her employee's houses/apartments but she needed to speak to him.

She arrived at House's apartment only 10 minuten after leaving her own. She knocked on the door and waited. As she waited she noticed the piano had stopped and knew that House was coming to the door.

She stared at her feet as the door opened.

"Hi," he zei "What's up?"
"You, again" she zei with a small smile
"What have I done this time?"...

They were still in that weird non-couple couple point in their relationship. They were spending alot of time together at her place and his, but neither had zei "I Love You," of described the other as a girlfriend of boyfriend yet. Wow...
Just wow...
The implications of this are actually huge... in so many ways my mind can’t really cope... so i’m writing them down, so me and others can understand what’s going on and digest in fully.
