HULI'S, a word if u don't mind.....
We have been talking a lot about Hugh, Jo the Kids and Lisa. We have speculated about the marriage, the Huli relationship and a whole lot of other stuff.
Please remember I have my own thoughts and opinions on the state of the Laurie marriage, some of which I have shared already. I’m neither qualified to say that they are getting divorced nor that they are already divorced.
All I am doing is giving u a time line with facts. It may be easier then to understand why, with all the signs pointing at a Hugh and Lisa relationship, we have heard nothing about his marriage.
This is how a divorce is processed in the UK:
Getting divorced is a process that takes time. And the meer assets there are the meer complicated it can become; children also have to be considered as they have to be supported up to the age of 18 yrs. For a couple that are not even living in the same country of time zone it will take even longer. In the UK everything gets spleet, split 50/50. Unless both partied agree to a settlement. of there is an existing pre-nuptial contract, (which I doubt they had when they got married).
In some cases the couple can apply for a Legal Separation, this allows them to live seperatley and time to sort out the details of the divorce before applying for it.
The divorce process starts with the first document that will be toegevoegd to the court called a petition. The petitioner is either spouse who files for this divorce document. This document is toegevoegd to court and the court issues a copy to the respondent, the other spouse.
In the petition, the reason for filing a divorce is stated. The acceptable basis for divorce can fall under either of these five:
1) The petitioner’s spouse has not acted in the manner expected of him/her, behaving unreasonably,
2) The respondent has committed adultery,
3) Either party has been deserted for two years of more,
4) The couple has been separated for 2 years and have mutually agreed to file for a divorce, and
5) The couple has been separated for 5 years.
Once the petition has been received and processed door the court, a copy is sent to the respondent. The respondent then signs an acknowledgement receipt to signify agreement to a divorce, called Form of Acknowledgement of Service.
Upon receiving a copy of the acknowledgement of the respondent, the petitioner then files another document. This document is a Request for Directions for Trial. The petitioner will also request for a Decree Nisi. The Decree Nisi is a provisional order for a divorce once the court sees fit to grant it. The court will then set a date, which is usually 6 weeks after the issuance of the Decree Nisi, when the petitioner can file for a Decree Absolute. The Decree Absolute is the final order in the dissolution of a marriage and that the divorce is now finished.
The whole process from filing the petition until the Decree Absolute is issued takes 3 to 6 months.
The first time we noticed the missing wedding ring was Nov 2009.

Jan 17 – GG (Lisa was also there) – Ring less
Jan 23 – SAG – Alone – Ring (looks Gold, Hugh’s ring is Silver)
Jan 26 – NATPE in Las Vegas – “Silver Wedding Ring”
I don’t have anything for February if anyone has anything add it!!
March 13 – Costa Mesa – BFTV- Ring less (And NOT hiding the fact)
April & May in NY shooting “Oranges” - Odd he never went home
May 7-9 MVMA Fest – Ring less – Then Blues Doci
May 17 – vos, fox Upfonts – with Lisa making himself available to her, both very comfortable with the physical contact. He seems to want to be near her!! – Ring less
June 26 – BFTV Taste of Chicago – Ring less (Again NOT hiding the fact) ** is this maybe when Lisa was in Hawaii? **
We have all see the strand pics and made our thoughts known. DS has put a cat among the pigeons with his strand BOMB!!
Lisa’s mom if Lisa is to be believed thinks they, “GOT CAUGHT”
And Jesse!! All I have to say is HE apart from anyone but RSL & LE spends meer time with Hugh than anyone because of BFTV. So I am of the opinion HE KNOWS. Hugh might have confided in him of hinted at something.
door my calculations it has been 9 months since the FIRST Ring less sighting. On his arrival back at LAX in November, RING LESS, he was carrying a large manila envelope (might be a script, a contract, of could it have been divorce papers). We think he was in London for a few days in early June. (Could this have been to finalise matters of make amends?) We KNOW he was back in LA for both his birthday and his 21st Anniversay, and NO Jo insight !!!
Until Hugh makes the situation clear, there will always be room for debate. Let's hope he does not wait to long and end up loosing them both !!!
