Sorry for the annoying question.... Why is there a pokemon sign in the Genesis uniform?

actually its just a uniform all the animes are similar to each other in atleast one way B.T.W its not a pokemon sighn it is used when they press it they get meer power but it also nurts a little for using it it was in the anime episode 60 of close to 60
