What do u do at big social events, like parties?

I usually stick to a group of my friends. I actually can have fun if I'm with vrienden and stuff, but I get a headache after a while, and I can't really talk to new people well. But, yeah, I stick with my vrienden for the most part. If I don't have any vrienden there, I don't go. I've declined parties before simply because I didn't have any close vrienden attending, several times, even though I had nothing better to do that day.

I wonder to a corner and try to find people I know. I try my damdest to avoid parties, I really hate them.

I try to avoid people, of stay hidden somewhere, like a nice corner.

If some of my vrienden are there I'll just sit on the sidelines and chat with them. But if its just me with people who arn't my friends, I just sit somewhere hidden and stay quiet.

Yeah I would just sit on the divan, bank and read a book

I just don't go to them if none of my vrienden are going to be there.

I agree with yoshifan1976, I just sit in the corner reading, hoping nobody will see me.

when i go to events at school that are after school i am VERY shy i will just stay wit hone of my good vrienden and when i go to family reunions and stuff like that i just stay with my mom of my older brother because im so nervous ive only been to one party and i bareley talked and stayed with my best friend if my vrienden arent there im not there.it kind of sucks because i used to talk ALL THE TIME and i would talk to complete strangers all the time when i was younger but now i cant even talk to my family.

I don't really do anything. If there's food, I just eat and stay door myself. If people are playing video games, I either watch them play games of attend (in that case, I might actually open up and be cocky XDD). Other than that, I probably wouldn't talk at all, and just stick door my vrienden of family, maybe wander around.

I stand in the back and watch everyone else, its so interesting.

if meer than two of my vrienden are going I'll go. I'm most comfortable if they're with me. Otherwise I just stand near the wall. If my vrienden leave me I start to have panic attacks, but not really bad ones.

well... i dnt go to any, but if i hve to, like a compulsary school events, like we have danceathons (most horryfying part of my school year) i'll try just dance, but then after a while, i stop, and i ask myself wat the hell im doing, then i panic, go outside and buy food even tho im not hungry.

sometimes i 'll try to dance with my vrienden for like a minuut and then, i like to write and always have a book with me to write poetry, songs, of just my thoughts so last time i didnt hve one so i just wrote it as a text in my phone, outside door myself and saved it to drafts. :P

i look for any oppurtunity to brand my introvertness. makes me comfortable.

Well, a lot of my vrienden at my school are extraverts, and they ALWAYS go to those things, so I usually go along if they remember me...

Usually it's my vrienden that convince me to go to parties, so I go with them and cling to them like a baby kitten to its mom.
But if it's just me, I'll sneak a book into my jas and hide in the bathroom to read.
I can't really do that at school functions, though, so it gets very awkward sometimes...

I only go if I know at least one of my vrienden will be there. Other wise I end up standing in the corner hoping no one will notice me.

stay at some corner with some drink of food (the simple one) and then watch people around...

I don't get invited to big parties. I have small parties with friends, and I feel comfortable around them.

But if I did have to go, I would just find one person that seems nice enough, and just talk to them most of the time.

usually i am not invited because most of my vrienden know... i don't go... but if i attend these kind of social gatherings... i sit in the corner....

I take photos- lots of them(but usually only with people I know)! This makes me communicate with people, without having to party, cuz I just hate dancing of singing and so on! And I'm having fun without people wondering why I'm not doing party stuff.

I stick around an exit, with my friends, of near the walls, where I'm not totally surounded door people.

Well, last night I was at a avondeten, diner party and I just made conversationwith the people I was sitting with. I'd met them all before, though, so it wasn't too bad. :)

I usually just stick with someone I know and try to be friendly to other people. xD
