"JANE EYRE" (1996) Review

According to the Wikipedia website, there have been sixteen film adaptations of charlotte Brontë's 1847 novel, "Jane Eyre". And there have been ten televisie adaptations of the novel. That is a hell of a lot of adaptations for one novel. A lot. And judging door the numbers, I have no immediate plan to see every movie of televisie adaptation. But I have seen at least five of six adaptations. And one of them is Franco Zeffirelli's 1996 movie adaptation.

Hi! I hope this is okay to post here. I’ve written a Jane Eyre modernization that started as fanfic but is now on amazone, amazon Scout. u can get the book for free if u nominate and amazone, amazon chooses to publiceer it! It’s called The Rise and Fall of Jane, link: link

Anyway, I love all things Jane! When I graduated from high school, my dad even managed to take me to the Broadway toon that was playing for a while. I’ve read almost all the retellings and sequels I can find (besides rereading the original every so often) so I finally decided to write my own! Even if u don’t want to nominate on Amazon, u can still find a version of my story on fanfiction.net if you’d like something Eyre-related to read.

When I began this article, it occurred to me that I was about to embark upon the review of the sixth adaptation I have seen of charlotte Brontë's 1847 novel. I have now seen six adaptations of "Jane Eyre" and plan to watch at least one of two more. Meanwhile, I would like to discuss my aantal keer bekeken on the 1973 televisie adaptation.

For the umpteenth time, "JANE EYRE" told the story of a young English girl, who is forced to live with her unlikable aunt-by-marriage and equally unlikable cousins. After a clash with her Cousin John Reed, Jane Eyre is sent to Lowood Institution...

As long as I can remember, both the Hollywood and British film industries have trotted out charlotte Brontë’s 1847 novel, "Jane Eyre" in order to make a movie of televisie adaptation of it. Looking back, I realize that I have seen at least six adaptation of the novel in my life time.

One of those adaptations turned out to be the 1983 BBC miniseries, "JANE EYRE". Directed door Julian Amyes and adapted door Alexander Baron, the eleven-part miniseries starred Zelah Clarke in the titel role and Timothy Dalton as Edward Rochester. Following Brontë’s novel, "JANE EYRE"...
