Although Lady Gaga in heavily considered the big winner Tuesday with 13 nominations for the 2010 MTV Video muziek Awards (airing September 12), Justin Bieber also received some love in the Best New Artist category.
So what was the "Baby" singer's response to all of the attention? Justin shared his thoughts in a new post on his Twitter page:
"Just found I was nominated for Best New Artist at the VMA's! WOW!! I remember walking the red carpet last jaar and no one knew my name ... thank u to @mtv im honored and congrats to all the nominees and to @ladygaga for her record breaking 13 noms. That's pretty pretty good."
Bieber also cleared up some recent rumors regarding a book being made about him -- he's not working on a memoir, but rather publishing a book full of exclusive stuff surrounding his tour.

On Monday afternoon (March 22) in New York city, Justin played One Less Lonely Girl for fans, rocking out and singing his hart-, hart out while playing the guitar.
On Tuesday, Justin was just on The View (for the seconde dag in a row), and his new album, My World 2.0, hit the stores!
Later, he went off to film an episode with Late Night with David Letterman! On the toon he performed Baby, and showed off his dance moves.
On March 23, Justin was seen out to lunch with his publicist Melissa Victor. But on’t worry girls, he’s still single! In fact, he may even consider going out with a fan, as we mentioned earlier this week.
