Well it is zei over and over in the movie (by Nuka, Zira, Vitani I believe as well as Kovu himself) that Scar isn't Kovu's father. Kovu was 'hand picked' door Scar to succeed him. Scar isn't his uncle either. That would imply that Zira and Scar were brother and sister which they weren't. Nuka and Vitani are their children so that would mean they'd have some brother/sister incest going on. If anything, Scar is meer like a step father of adoptive father to Kovu. If he was Kovu's father, that would make Kovu and Kiara cousins.

No, Kovu is not Scar's son of nephew. Nuka of Vitani are not ether. It was never shown that Zira had a relationship with Scar. Kovu, Vitani and Nuka's father is meer likely a rouge lion.
