Kyle is Ian's older and very stubborn brother. During most of the book, he holds a fierce hatred for Wanda and tries to kill her. He is described as looking almost exactly like Ian, and can also sound like him when he is calm. He had a girlfriend named Jodi who was caught and implanted, and he tries to rescue her door removing the soul from her brain. Jodi does not regain consciousness, and so he replaces the soul who has grown to love Kyle through Jodi's memories.
