'SVU No Longer Looking to kraag Love Hewitt' | TV Line 

I wouldn't have minded JLH on the show but I already have an actress in mind for the role. She is a big shocker for me because I'm not really a fan of the actress, but think she would be great in a sex crimes detective role on the show. I also think she would mesh perfectly with the rest of the cast(they are still on SVU right?) I'm taking these cast shake-ups with an open mind, twelve seasons is a good time for a change, even if it's short-lived.

Can I ask who you have in mind? =) There are a few I wouldn't mind seeing on SVU, but I'd love to see Tawny Cypress get it. Never gonna happen, but I can dream... =P

Well and I just read this but SVU is Sophia Bush's favorite show and that's who I really want to see on it. I can't stand Brooke on OTH but Sophia is a good and likeable actress. I'm kind of want ing to send her fanmail asking her to audition/try for the role on SVU, but I'm not that crazy. It won't happen though because I highly doubt she's gonna leave in OTH's possible last season. It would be cool though.

with Chase being cancelled Kelli Giddish and Cole Hauser, are available.

As much as I love him and like her... I really don't see them fitting into the NY scene. >.>

I've honestly been thinking about this a lot and can't come up with like ANYTHING. MH and CM have filled those roles so well for so long, I still can't wrap my mind around either getting replaced.

Hmm, Kelli Giddish might work. I loved her on All My Children and plan to watch Chase sometime on Netflix. Sorry that show got canceled.
