I honestly like both Brooke and Peyton (Peyton more though) as characters and I love Breyton as friendship because it was flawed and it was REAL, but seriously, to say that Peyton was the one who did awful things to Brooke while Brooke was a supposed innocent victim? I just don't buy it. Peyton punched Brooke after she literally slept with her boyfriend, even if it was a sort of an "ex" boyfriend because they had a fight and were technically broken up at the moment, but Brooke was more than aware of Peyton/Nathan complecated relationship and them breaking up and hooking up twice a week, it being their usual pattern. And she still jumped into bed with him. Yet Brooke was the one who slapped Peyton and called her a two faced bitch just because Peyton kissed (JUST kissed) her guy when she was [i]dying[/i]. Not to mention that Brooke was always aware of LP feelings and connection and that is where all her insecurities in her relationship with Lucas came from. Had BL been so happy and perfect and had Brooke not been aware of the fact that Lucas will always feel something for Peyton would she rush out of the house in the middle of a freaking storm only because of some cliched line Lucas used in a love letter to her that he also used in a letter to Peyton? This sort of insecure, hysterical behaviour on Brooke's part pointed at major flaws in BL relationship and Brooke herself knew those flaws and knew about Lucas and Peyton being far from over, that being the reason for Brooke to be so insecure and the reason for Lucas to never be able to cut Peyton out of his life. I'm not saying that everything Peyton did was ok, but she at least tried her best to be honest with Brooke and she even sacrificed her love for Lucas during season 1 for the sake of her best friend. She was honest with Brooke in season 3 too, she told her about her feelings for Luke and about the kiss that happened when Peyton thought she was dying. Peyton said she was not gonna go for Lucas if Brooke wants to be with him and she didn't go for him, she did not do anything. Not before Brooke's blessing LP even got together.

hellyeahbrucas Okay seriously you leytoners must be delusional to think that brooke slapped peyton for the kiss. It had NOTHING to do with the kiss. It was solely the fact that Peyton completely twisted Brooke's words to make it like she didn't love Lucas anymore. You guys must not have watched this show properly. And please, don't use the Nathan and Brooke hookup to justify Peyton's lack of character. THEY WERE BOTH DRUNK. NEYTON WAS A MESS. PEYTON NEVER EVEN HAD FEELINGS FOR NATHAN. AND BROOKE CHANGED. Okay? Brooke changed. And unlike Peyton, who turned into a man-stealing whore, Brooke changed for the better. And if you guys want your ship to win even though they were each other's last picks (yeah, brooke and lindsey wore his engagement ring before the mopy-ass tortured soul, and yes, the GOOD peyton had a family with jake LONG before leyton) than please, go ahead, enjoy your ship ending up together. And last thing, I'm so glad lucas got dumped by brooke, because he clearly didn't deserve her amazingness. Now, the two worst characters of the show ended up together, not ruining two other people's lives, and the queen b. davis got a man who treats her like that, Julian Baker. suck on that leytoners.

It started happening later in their relationship. And don't justify that because Brooke eventually "changed" it doesn't make what she did with Nathan in the past right. There is a word to describe her and it's a hypocrite. You can't deny the fact that she gave Peyton crap for what she did when Brooke did the same exact thing. Who care's if Nathan & Peyton were broke up; it still doesn't make it right. Especially since they always broke up and got back together so Brooke knew that was something she shouldn't cross. And don't make it like it's okay that they slept together because they were both "drunk" who in their right mind justifys something like that? lol. And a matter of fact Leyton won because they were meant for each other. Not because it was their last picks. Lucas could have chosen Lindsay or Brooke, but he chose Peyton. And if YOU watched the show correctly you would know that. Even from the beginning Mark created a world that Lucas & Peyton would eventually end up together. It was his plan a long. And I am glad that Brooke found Julian because they were meant to be together just like Lucas & Peyton were. Brooke & Lucas both didn't deserve each other because Peyton & Julian deserved them more. Brucastiltheend (First of all how come what Peyton did was MUCH worse than what Brooke did?!) It's not that what Peyton did was worse than what Brooke did. The difference is Peyton did what she did Sober and she continued on. Brooke slept with Nathan Once and then thought it was a nightmare. She barely even remembered that it happened. With Peyton, It wasn't just One kiss. It was Multiple kisses. And it was worse because it was an emotional affair. If it was just sex then that can be forgiven. But Lucas and Peyton talked about what they were doing and still decided to continue. And what made her second betrayal hurt worse was that Peyton was the one who encouraged Brooke to be with Lucas. She made Brooke believe she had moved on and then pulled the rug out from under her. (Peyton was honest to Brooke several times. She told her about her feelings for Lucas to spare her from hurting her again. Yes Peyton did lie in Season 1, but she did the most heartbreaking sacrifice and that was to let go of the guy she loved for her best friend. That's true friendship right there. And she never told Brooke about the library kiss because Peyton thought she was dying!) Yes, Peyton was honest. It was very brave of her to tell Brooke that she had feelings for Lucas. But just because she was brave doesn't mean that she was right. Brooke has often showed that she was insecure when it came to Lucas and Peyton's relationship, especially after what happened in season 1. She had to know that Brooke wasn't just going to smile and laugh it off. And just because your dying doesn't give you the right to kiss someone else's boyfriend. Hasn't she ever heard of a hug? Or maybe a kiss on the cheek? Plus, Brooke made the same sacrifice. She broke up with Lucas, even though she still loved him, and encouraged him to be with Peyton. Not once but twice. (Lucas and Brooke were OBVIOUSLY not at their happiest towards the end of season 3. IMO Brooke put WAY too much pressure on Lucas. She knew deep down that he loved Peyton) They may have been the happiest but they were trying. Are you saying that you never argued with your partner? They had really cute moments and, despite what most people might think, they really loved each other. Yes, Brooke believed that Lucas still had lingering feelings for Peyton but I don't think she believed that he loved Peyton. And maybe Brooke did pressure Lucas a little bit too much but things just kept coming out. The letter, Rachel, the hotel room, etc. Can you honestly say that you wouldn't be a little worried. (For me I always felt like whatever Lucas did it was never enough for her. And the fact that she stated, "Why won't you ever just let me all the way in?" He let Peyton all the way in. He loved Brooke but it was not enough. I love Brooke as a character, but IMO it just seemed like Brooke was way to whining with Lucas and she could never move on from the whole Peyton ordeal.) It's not that what Lucas did wasn't good enough. It's just that sometimes a woman needs more than pretty words. And when she asked him why he never let her all the way in, it was after finding out that he kissed Peyton and Peyton had feelings for him. Besides, Peyton was the one who said that she would say yes if he proposed to her again. He had no idea whether Brooke would do something like that. And yes, Leyton was Mark's plan in season 1 but later on he seemed to lean towards Brucas. Lucas's destiny shot. Nathan's speech on Lucas's heart. He build Brucas up so much that he had to constantly have everyone else in the show ship Leyton to counteract that. Skills ushing Lucas to be with Peyton. Brooke pushing Lucas to be with Peyton. Keith's ghost, who was a Brucas shipper when he was alive, pushed Lucas to be with Peyton. Lindsey pushed Lucas to be with Peyton. Hayley pushed Lucas to be with Peyton. Why so much pushing? If you love somebody, than you love them. You don't need someone else to push you to be with someone. (And I am glad that Brooke found Julian because they were meant to be together just like Lucas & Peyton were. Brooke & Lucas both didn't deserve each other because Peyton & Julian deserved them more.
