	peacelovetv95 picked B.J.: you guys are crazy! i agree with chinamarie, the show needed someone to balance out the characters. hawkeye needed a straight man to play off of, not a copy of himself, which is what trapper was. ok, so maybe bj wasnt as funny as trapper sometimes, but he hit the nail on the head when it came to seting up hawk's comebacks. btw, wayne rogers quit because he thought trap was becoming a sidekick to hawkeye, which was not what he signed up for. 	Persephone713 picked B.J.: I like both- but BJ while still funny and pulling pranks needed to balance out Hawkeye and vice versa when push came to shove. And there needed to a straight man, cause we all knew the silly seasons couldnt cont. forever. Besides one of them ( Trapper and BJ both married with daughters) had to be the committed one, Just like with Frank and Winchester both were arrogant, but Charles was smart and able to show compassion, where as Frank was not. Both were the Butt of jokes, but eventually Charles BJ and Hawkeye got along. posted een jaar geleden.
